Monday Moment: Silly, Silly, Silly

Happy Monday, friends. <3

Now that Nala’s 15 years old, she’s sort of an old girl, you know? She’s started snapping a little when she gets irritated (she doesn’t bite — it’s just like a warning to leave her alone), and she sometimes goes potty in the house. The snapping we all could deal with. But the potty in the house is not a good thing. Thankfully it was not happening that often (maybe like twice a week). But as you all know… even once is more than enough.

Mommy got this crazy idea from a friend, to put a diaper on Nala. They said it worked for their doggie, so why not try it out? So she did.

Flashback Friday: Water Fun
All I can say, is that this was the funniest
thing I’ve ever seen. Nala couldn’t STAND it, and
she tried to rip it off! Everyone had a good laugh,
but decided that diapers were not going to work in
this house. They’ve decided to walk Nala more often.
And so far that’s been working. :)

How have you all dealt with aging doggies and potty problems?

Please stop by a few friends and give them some love…

Please keep my hu-grandma in your thoughts and prayers…

Mommy’s mommy has gone back on the cancer medicine — her doctor wants to keep the cancer from getting worse. The good news, is that grandma has no other health issues at the moment. Please continue to say prayers for her. <3

Are you following the new link for my RSS Feed?

I heard from many of you that my feed has not been showing up in your readers for quite some time. I am so sorry! Feedburner said my RSS Feed got too big, and it stopped sending it out. :/ So I deleted it and it’s now located here. You can always visit my page and click on the RSS link in the sidebar. I hope this will solve the problem, so you can be notified of new posts. Please do let me know if this solves the problem! :)

As you know the White Dog Army has its share of Seniors. Oso, our 12yo Little Man has sometimes issues with going inside. We found that more frequent trips out and cutting off water intake after dinner helped a lot. Also He gets taken out the first first moment he opens his eyes in the morning. Treat it like retraining and even reward outside success…that was advice from our Dr. Julia and it has been working pretty well.

    Hey Nala!
Wow, I don’t blame you a bit! It might be pretty pink, but definitely not gonna happen! Getting more walkies is a great answer and much more fun fur sure! BOL

Oh good luck! We had some accidents with Sam, but he was willing to wear a diaper. He had such issues getting up that it was easier to rely on that.
