Fun, Family, WATER & Video!

Well… today pretty much turned out to be an inside day. It rained in the morning, then continued to rain throughout the day. That didn’t really bother me, because I love playing in the rain. But for some reason, mommy doesn’t love rain mixed with dirt. Maybe that’s because I have a tendency to roll around in dirt.

My poor turtle — I think he misses me.

Mommy let Nala and me walk around the house without our leashes for the past couple of days, but she noticed that Nala’s eye seems to have gotten worse. My family thinks that maybe my tail has hit her once too many times. So, today, we went back on our leashes in the house, so we could see if Nala’s eye begins to get better again. She may call the doctor tomorrow just to be sure.

Today may have been a rainy day, but yesterday was pretty wet too! I played outside with my family, and had an awesome time with the hose!

Mommy & HS filled up my little turtle pool with water. After they filled up my pool, they came inside and filled up a huge tub with ice! I thought, “That’s a bit too much to fit in my water bowl, isn’t it?” Heh, I thought they were going to put it in my bowl. Nope! They took it outside and put the entire tub of ice in my pool!

When I got outside, I went over to my pool. I thought it looked strange with all the ice in there. It reminded me of my water bowl, except that it was much bigger!

Since it was hot out yesterday, the ice didn’t stay in the pool for too long. HS went back inside and got some more ice, but it kept disappearing. The sun kept melting it, I guess.

It may have been hot in the air, but the water was freezing cold! I couldn’t keep my puppy paws in there for too long. Once the ice melted, I had a blast jumping in and out of the pool, and splashing water everywhere.

I love drinking water from the hose!

Keep it coming! I’m sooo thirsty!

HS always says I look like a wet dog after we finish
playing in the water. Hmmm, I wonder why. 😉

Mommy was lucky to take the following video — she had just shut off her camera because we were done playing. But we didn’t make it inside, because when HS put the hose down, it didn’t turn off! AWESOME!!

I had so much fun (and it was even more enjoyable because the water was getting everywhere, even where HS and mommy were standing. This definitely was the best day. A puppy who loves water, and a stuck water hose. Too bad I went to grab it, or I would have been able to play with it for much longer!
