Review: Dog Tag Art

Everyone in my family has a great sense of humor, and it’s definitely rubbed off on me… a lot! Which is why when they first showed me the product I’m gonna review today, I knew I had to have one.

Today I’m reviewing a doggie tag from: DogTagArt.com.

They have so many tags to choose from, and there’s really no limit to what design I could get. Some of the categories of designs are: Specific Breeds, Funny Slogans, Flags & Nationality, Holidays & Christmas, Nature & Eco-Friendly, Vintage & Retro, and Rescue & Adoption.

If I didn’t find one of the thousands of tags that are already on their site, I could design my own (or have my mommy make one). And if they chose her design to sell on their site, my mommy could make $1 each time someone buys it. Not bad, huh?

From DogTagArt.com:

“Our pet ID tags are 1&#188 inches (3.18 cm) in diameter, perfect for most dogs and cats. They are made of a recycled steel core and coated with a special polymer that fuses the graphics permanently to the tag. Each tag comes with a sturdy metal split keyring for attaching to the collar. They are guaranteed to never wear out or we’ll replace them for free.”

You can’t beat that guarantee, can you? πŸ˜‰

There are 1000+ designs… care to guess what type of tag I chose?

Look below for the Good Stuff vs. the Not-So-Good Stuff…

Digging holes is a messy job, but some doggie has to do it!

Review: Dog Tag Art
Thanks so much for my tag, Dog Tag Art.

The Good Stuff:

  • Art and pets — they go together very well.
  • The tags are manufactured and made in the U.S.
  • The tags are guaranteed to never wear out or become unreadable. If they ever do, the company will replace it for free.
  • Tags are good for both doggies and kitties. Our humans can even wear them if they want to! Or, be creative and use them as accessories: adorn a backpack, purse, key chain… the possibilities are pretty much endless. You can even hang them up. Hey, they’re art!
  • There are 13 categories to browse, and users are constantly creating new tag art, so you’ll never run out of designs. There were more than 1000 custom tags to choose from before I stopped counting! And then there are artists who have created their own tag art, so if you find a style you like, there’s bound to be more from that artist.
  • Key rings are included.
  • The tags can work with their Virtual Leash, in which you will be able to maintain a unique website (or online profile) for your pet. You could have unlimited emergency contacts that can be instantly notified if your pet goes missing. When your pet is found, the website can send everyone messages via email, Twitter, text message and voicemail.
  • If you’re creative, you can create a tag design of your own and become one of their artists. If your design is chosen to be featured on DogTagArt.com, they’ll pay you a $1 royalty for each of your tags sold.

The Not-So-Good Stuff:

Hmmm… there isn’t really anything bad I can list under here, but I’ll try.

  • They tried to make me go to Hole Diggers Anonymous, I said, No, no, nooooo!
  • Nala’s jealous that she doesn’t have one.

My conclusion?

I LOVE my new tag from Dog Tag Art! They’re fun, creative, and can go with practically anything you want. Any hole diggers care to join me?

I may just have to order Nala one. How about a Big Sister tag?

Visit Dog Tag Art — you’re sure to find your next tag there. πŸ™‚

Lotsa woofs & hugs,

~Bailey

I love finding cool tag places! We’ll have to give them a look.

I’m kinda new to your blog, so bear with me, but how do Bailey’s ears stay up on top of her head sometimes? That is so funny!

You are a wonderful model, Bailey! The tags seem clever, durable, and colorful. The split ring is a good way to be sure the tag won’t fall off. We just wish we knew about this cool site before we ordered YoYoMa’s tag (which is cool, too, but momma thinks will wear quickly). Nala needs a nifty tag of her own. Thanks for the review.

Teehee!! Thanks everyone! I LOVE my new tag, even though it isn’t keeping me from my favorite activity. πŸ˜‰

Nala doesn’t yet have one, but we may be getting one for her soon… we just have to come up with the perfect tag.

    Woofs & hugs!

    hey Bailey,

What a pawsome idea! Love it! Thank you so much for sharing. I love your tag! I could never be a member of HDA, though, since I never dig. Bummers. I will need to think of another organization I could join.

You are so adorable! I love your photos! Especially you thinking of not digging, with your eyes shut, and the last one where you proudly display your pawsome hole! You are a riot!

p.s. Thanks for thinking of me with your Comment on Wednesday! My human really needs to get it together and let me post more. :-/

  5. Hey Bailey,
