Hello friends! I am so glad to be back in touch with everyone. My little bloggie break (see this post) is over, and I hope to catch up with all of you very soon.
Yep, I’m back! But I realized a few things over the past 3 weeks. I realized that it’s OK to not post every single day. I realized that nothing bad will happen to me, and that I will still have all my friends. After posting every single day for 17 months, I realized that sometimes family stuff will get in the way of my blogging… and that’s OK. So if you don’t see an update from me on one day, just look for it the next day or so. See more about me below… π
I know I’ve missed many things these past few weeks. Since I’m probably not going to be able to catch up with everything, I would love for you to share with me what’s been going on with you! Please comment below and let me know. π

Below are a few things that I’ve missed sharing with all of you…
I’m 2 years old…
I turned 2 on 6-18-12!! I totally forgot, but my family didn’t. Oh goshies… how I love when they sing the Happy Birthday song — it means that we’re gonna get ice cream!! Yeah! Mommy didn’t take any pictures on my birthday this year, but there’s no shortage of photos — trust me. π
Awards received from…

I am honored to receive a new award, twice! This award is called the Sunshine Award (what a lovely name). First I received it from my friends over at It’s a Weinerful Life, and then I received it from my friends Murphy and Stanley. There are rules for accepting this award, but in classic Bailey fashion, I’m not going to follow them. Thank you both so much for sharing this award with me!
Happy Belated Father’s Day…
Happy belated Father’s Day to all the daddies out there! What did all your daddies get? My daddy, who’s a Simpsons fan, got this. Mommy says she paid MUCH lower than that price. If you’re interested in getting that book (it weighs more than 8 lbs!), visit your local bookstore — it might be a lot cheaper there. π
Angels & Prayers…
I’m sure there are others who sadly fall under this category, but the following are all that I am aware of. Please forgive me for not mentioning you — if you need prayers, please comment below and let me know. <3 The Rainbow Bridge has received a couple of angels... Dachshund Nola lost their baby Charlotte suddenly, on 6-6-12. She was just 6 mths old. Then there’s Thai from Doxies with Moxie… he arrived at The Rainbow Bridge on 6-25-12. I’m so sorry, friends. Many huggies and prayers for you, from Nala and me.
My friend Chloe over at the Five Sibes, recently had some surgery. I am so glad she is back home with her family, and on the road to recovery. Many huggies and prayers for you, Chloe!
My friend Puff from the White Dog Army, recently had a terrible health scare. I am so glad she survived her illness and is on the road to recovery. Many huggies and prayers for you, Puff!
DrawingMom Stuff…
My mommy’s done a few drawings recently. They’re already on DrawingMom.com, but I’ve included them below. Mommy also started a Facebook page — if mommy’s drawn your doggie and you have a free moment, would you mind hopping over and posting your testimonial under your drawing? Ooh, and while you’re there… do you think you could ‘like’ her page? That’d be totally pawesome if you could. Any way to spread the news… mommy works mostly by word of mouth, so any sharing you could do would be great, and I’d really appreciate it! Thank you so much, friends! <3

Update on My furry sisters…
Remember one year ago when I was coming up on my 1 year birthday, and was thinking about the two furry sisters I left behind the night my family rescued me? Well, the lady who runs the rescue organization, finally called my mommy! Can you believe it took her a year to get back to my mommy?! She called this past Sunday and told my mommy that she spoke to one sister’s family and gave them mommy’s phone number, and she left a message for the other family. Maybe we’ll be able to get some updated photos yet! I will definitely let you know if we hear anything. <3 Update on US…
My family’s health is OK. It wasn’t one thing in particular, it was just a bunch of little things that all together were really stressful. As you may already know, it’s really hard to concentrate under stress! This bloggie break gave me the time I needed to be there for my family… ’cause to me, they’re really important peeps!
Now with me… remember back in November when I was 16 months old, I told you that I went to the doctor and mommy talked to him about my back legs? Back then he said he didn’t see anything wrong. Well, recently I’ve been having a lot of problems with them. Sometimes when I slip on the floor and my back legs go the wrong way, I cry. The next minute I’m OK, but then another time Nala and I will be playing chase out back and all of a sudden my back legs will just collapse from under me and I’ll cry. This past week it happened twice, so mommy made a doctor’s appointment for me for this Friday. Most of the time I’m OK — I can run like crazy and my legs won’t bother me. But my family is worried. It would be awful for me to have any problems, ’cause I LOVE to run. And I mean L O V E! I will let you know what happens at the doctors. Wish me luck! <3 What’s happening with you?
I wanna know! Please catch me up and let me know what you’ve been up to these past few weeks. I care about all of you and hope you are doing OK.
Love,
Bailey <3

Hi Bailey, I sure hope the V-E-T let’s mom know everything is ok with that back end of yours! I’ll be sending good thoughts your way.
Just to let you know, Trevor from Collies of the Meadow went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. I’m sure Chuck could use some kind words.
I posted some pictures of Weasley checking out his portrait on my site today.

Hi Bailey!!! Welcome Back! Glad to hear that your family is doing better and we have all paws crossed for your vet visit!! Your mom does amazing work…her drawings are just gorgeous!! We will go over to Facebook and check it out! We have been gone on the road for the past month…so we are playing catch up too!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
We are already sending positive thoughts to take with when you visit the vet. Paws crossed. Thanks for mentioning Puff. She is now down to medication just once a day, almost at what will probably be her life maintenance dosage. We hope you are avoiding the heat wave.
Sorry we missed your barkday, dear friend! Even though it is belated our wish for a long long life filled with health, family, pampering, friends, grand adventures and always love, is no less sincere.
Glad your back and we totally understand the pressure of blogging sometimes. When My Vickie gets a little overwhelmed, she just won’t let me even turn on the computer. Thank you for all the updates and boy oh boy your mom does some great work.
Love ya
Bert
Family always comes first and there’s nothing wrong with taking a blogging break. The blog world will always be here waiting for anyone who has to take a break. we all need them now and again. I’m glad to hear that things are getting better and I sure hope your legs check out okay. we will keep our fingers and paws crossed for you! π
Good you are back! Yes, not necessary to post every day. It’s too hard! Most people read several blogs so I don’t think anyone drops off. Good luck with the doc. We’ll cross paws for you!
Your friends,
Murphy & Stanley

I think blogging breaks are good, we take one all the time π Im glad to hear that it wasnt anything serious. Glad to see you back!
Glad you are back. It is important to take care of family and to take care of yourself. I hope they find what might be wrong with your legs and can fix it.
Blessings,
Goose
It is important to take a break when you need it. We celebrated Katy’s b-day over the weekend and our getting ready for summer. We always have a big 4th celebration and then Dad’s parents come for a visit.
We are also involved with the Blogville Olympics and are hosting squirrel hurdles.
Sorry to hear about your leg problems. Hope the doctor figures out what is wrong and can fix it for you.
Happy happy birthday! Im featuring your amazing portrait of Weasley on my blog tommorow! I love it so much
