There are so many doggies that don’t have a furever home. I was one of the lucky ones. I don’t know all the details about what led us to cross paths on that one day back in September, but I am very grateful that my family and I found each other.

\nI would like to ask everyone who reads this post to consider saving a rescue dog, instead of buying one from a breeder. If I had one wish to make, it would be that all the homeless doggies would find a family of their very own. <\/p>\n

\"FamilyToday was a great day. Mommy played with Nala and me a lot this afternoon, and we practiced training with the clicker. I think that Nala’s liking that clicker too — she already knows her commands and listens pretty well, but she sometimes ignores mommy. I think she tries to use that “can’t teach an old dog new tricks” excuse. But I know she’s only faking it. I can tell she understands everything<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"FamilyI also played with my human sister lots. She took a toy bone and hid it underneath her legs, and I had to try and find it. The Find it<\/em> game is so much fun. I’m able to practice using my nose and all my other doggie senses. I just love this game. <\/p>\n

\"FamilySee the picture on the left? I was trying to catch the toy bone from underneath my human sister’s legs. Don’t I look vicious in that picture? Such big teeth I have!<\/p>\n

\"FamilyI also played in my human sister’s room. I love balancing on the big blue ball and watching television at the same time! She always laughs when I lose my balance and roll off the ball onto the floor. I don’t mind when that happens — I just jump right back on and balance away! <\/p>\n

\"FamilyMy human sister lets me eat my bone on her bed, even though it can get pretty crowded up there. She must have a hundred stuffed animals all piled up near her pillows. I want to play with each one of them, but I can’t. They’re not for doggies. But I can dream, can’t I? <\/p>\n

\"FamilyLater on we went outside to play. We ran around the pool, played hide-and-seek, and practiced the clicker some more. Like my mommy and daddy, my human sister always gives me lots of hugs. Look how big I am in that picture… I’m only 7 months old! <\/p>\n

\"FamilyWhen we came inside, I went to my water bowl, but it was empty. I had to wait until it was filled up. Oh how I wish the crushed ice was working! Drat. No ice in my bowl… just water.<\/p>\n

\"FamilyAfter I took a really long drink, I took a little nap. I can get comfortable sleeping anywhere, and since I was so tired, I fell asleep right in the middle of the floor. <\/p>\n
