Nala’s Dentist Update…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mommy knew it wouldn’t be a perfect — she has not been brushing her teeth since her last dental check-up, and she knew her teeth were bad. Since Nala had some teeth removed a year ago, food has been getting caught in the back and on the sides. Mommy tried to keep up with her teeth, but Nala was not a big fan of the toothbrush. Nala had some enamel staining, hyperplasia, gingivitis, a pocket & a small growth on her gums… oh, the list goes on. But — the good news is, that mommy has been brushing Nala’s AND my teeth, since her check-up on 7-5-13. She even cleans out the food after our breakfast, and sprays some liquid on it afterward. She uses a vanilla\/mint doggie toothpaste, which doesn’t taste that <\/em>bad, but I do prefer the poultry flavor. \ud83d\ude09 Mommy says that my teeth, that weren’t that bad before, are getting cleaner every day. Maybe she can keep my teeth clean enough, so they don’t get bad. I’ll keep my paws crossed that Nala’s next dentist appointment goes OK in 6 months… and that my teeth are perfect! Mommy wants me to remind all you doggies to tell your family to brush your teeth! You can prevent a lot of damage and pain… and no one wants that, right? <3\n\n
