I always thought of my backyard as a safe place. Today, I had doubts…

\nMommy opened the sliding door so we could go out in the backyard. Usually things are nice and peaceful, and I run all over the place. Today, there was something different… and it was sitting under a tree.<\/p>\n

It was red, white, and blue, and it stood in the dirt under one of the trees against the back fence. As soon as I saw it, I ran over to it. <\/p>\n

It scared me… a lot<\/em>. <\/p>\n

I barked at it to try and get it’s attention, but it seemed to ignore me. It never looked directly at me, but I had it in my sight at all times.<\/p>\n
