I&#8217;m still a puppy, even though I&#8217;m gonna be 10 months old in 6 days. But I&#8217;m sure growing up fast!<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m not as tired as much as I used to be. I don&#8217;t sleep as late in the mornings, and since I don&#8217;t get as tired, I can stay up later at night. Mommy loves this. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also lost all my baby teeth &#8212; at least my mommy thinks so. I haven&#8217;t lost a tooth in months. My friend Tanner&#8217;s mom kept a few of his baby teeth. My mommy kept whatever teeth she could (before I ate them). <\/p>\n<p>Wanna see a picture of my baby teeth?<\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews1.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nMommy says they&#8217;re sharp, but cute. \ud83d\ude09<\/center><\/p>\n<p>So as you can see, my teeth have changed. But one thing that hasn&#8217;t changed, is my love of TOYS! You can&#8217;t go wrong with a good toy (well, you can&#8217;t go wrong with a <em>bad <\/em>toy either&#8230; you just might not be able to play with it for as long). \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Mommy went to the store with MT yesterday, and brought home some goodies! <\/p>\n<p><\/font><font color=\"#FF0000\"><strong>Toy #1: Flying Saucer,<\/strong> from Pet Supermarket<\/font><\/p>\n<p>First up, we have a pink <em>girlie <\/em>flying saucer. MT picked it out. She said it&#8217;s a <em>must-have<\/em> toy. It&#8217;s round, plastic, says &#8220;Pet Supermarket&#8221; on it, and you don&#8217;t even have to throw it to have fun with it. \ud83d\ude09 <\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews1a.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nNala sniffed it but left it alone. I guess flying saucers<br \/>\naren&#8217;t easy to play with when you live in a cone.<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews2.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nI on the other hand, took it and ran!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews3.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nMT managed to get it back, and threw it to me a few times&#8230;<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews3a.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nbefore it met its demise. RIP girlie flying saucer. <\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flying saucers are fun! Fun to catch, fun to hold, and fun to chew.<\/li>\n<li>It brings families together. I don&#8217;t know any doggie that can actually throw a flying saucer. Do you? This is where we need humans. \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<li>They test your skills in jumping and running.<\/li>\n<li>Did I say it was <em>fun<\/em>? \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Not-So-Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The only thing that I could see that&#8217;s wrong with a flying saucer, is that it&#8217;s made of plastic! It&#8217;s <em>way <\/em>too easy for us puppies with strong teeth to chew! <\/p>\n<p>MT didn&#8217;t want to get one of the durable flying saucers &#8212; we already have one of those. She wanted a traditional flying saucer, and so that&#8217;s what we got. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>My conclusion?<\/strong> These toys are <em>great <\/em>for those doggies that can exercise control and not chew on it. Plastic is <em>not <\/em>good for a doggie&#8217;s tummy. <\/p>\n<p>Luckily for me, mommy noticed the damage and took it away before I could eat any part of it. <\/p>\n<p><\/font><font color=\"#FF0000\"><strong>Toy #2: Bow Wow Beanies Weenie Dachshund Plush Dog Toy <\/strong> from Ty<\/font><\/p>\n<p>Ty doggie toys are AWESOME! I wrote about them previously <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/home\/2011\/01\/17\/new-photos-new-toys\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nala doesn&#8217;t really play with toys much anymore&#8230; well, except when I&#8217;m not around. And usually she doesn&#8217;t play with them for long. She really just likes to play keep-away. Once there&#8217;s no human involved, she drops all toys. <\/p>\n<p>Whenever mommy buys a toy for me, she gets one for Nala&#8230; &#8217;cause Nala LOVES <em>receiving <\/em>new toys! Since she doesn&#8217;t play with them long, mommy picks them up off the floor when she&#8217;s done so I don&#8217;t get a chance to claim it as mine. Remember, everything&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/home\/2011\/01\/02\/its-mine\/\">mine<\/a>. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>But when mommy went shopping yesterday, she did not get a new toy for Nala. <em>Shhhhh! This is between me and you. What Nala doesn&#8217;t know, won&#8217;t hurt her.<\/em> Mommy took out a Ty Bow Wow Beanie that she had gotten Nala on another store trip, and gave her that one. <\/p>\n<p>I think Nala was fooled &#8212; mommy made it look like it came out of the bag with my new toys!<\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews4.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nNala didn&#8217;t mind though. She loved her doggie. Again.<\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve said it before and I&#8217;ll say it again. Ty Bow Wow Beanie Doggie Toys can withstand a lot of chewing. I&#8217;ve only ripped one, and we have 3. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They crinkle, like a water bottle. LOVE this sound!<\/li>\n<li>They squeak. LOVE squeaking!<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;re small and cuuuute!<\/li>\n<li>Pretty durable for rough play. Just don&#8217;t let doggies sit and chew on them. \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Not-So-Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Little kids and Ty collectors may try and steal them away.<\/li>\n<li>Not good for doggies who sit and enjoy a chew toy. &#8216;Cause they&#8217;re <em>not <\/em>chew toys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/font><font color=\"#FF0000\"><strong>Toy #3: Chuckit! Ultra Ball<\/strong> from Canine Hardware<\/font><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews5.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nSoft, plastic Chuckit! Ultra Ball.<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews6.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nEasy to hold, and pick up. Great to use while running away!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews7.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nThis ball bounces really HIGH!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center>Here&#8217;s a video of me and my Chuckit! It&#8217;s juuust right. \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>It gets the family involved in family play! \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Not-So-Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you bounce the ball up high when it&#8217;s sunny, you might not see it until it comes back down! (hopefully not on your head!)<\/li>\n<li>Like any ball, it can get lost easily. I&#8217;ve already lost this one a few times already!<\/li>\n<li>Dirt sticks to it.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s NO squeaker! \ud83d\ude41<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>My conclusion?<\/strong> This ball is lots of fun, for both doggies and humans! I love playing with balls, but some doggies, like Nala, may not. You should try though &#8212; you never know what doggies are gonna like!<\/p>\n<p><\/font><font color=\"#FF0000\"><strong>Toy #4: Squeak Funble Football<\/strong> from J.W. Pet Company, Inc.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews8.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nSmells like rubber!<\/center><\/p>\n<p>When I first saw this toy, I was a little overwhelmed at how big it was. Well, only for a few seconds. I had to figure out how to grab hold of it!<\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews9.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nMommy &#038; I played with this toy for a long time.<br \/>\nIt tuckered me out!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews10.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nDid I tell you this toy is MINE? And because it&#8217;s<br \/>\nmine, I decided I wanted to play some more!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews11.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nI love resting with my football. Maybe I should pick out a favorite team?<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews12.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nI don&#8217;t think Nala liked my football touching her.<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews13.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nMY football. <3<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews13a.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nHow did <em>this <\/em>hole get here? And <em>this <\/em>one? And <em>that <\/em>one?<br \/>\nRIP Squeak Funble Football. \ud83d\ude41<\/center><\/p>\n<p>This toy lasted a couple of hours. It would have been gone sooner, but mommy didn&#8217;t know I was chewing it. I was a secret chewer!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I LOVE the extra loud, alien-sounding squeak! It makes my family feel like <em>they are not alone<\/em>. I also love the sound.<\/li>\n<li>Love to chase it after someone throws it.<\/li>\n<li>It gets the family involved in family-play.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Not-So-Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rubber is not indestructible.<\/li>\n<li>Not a chew toy.<\/li>\n<li>Not easy for doggies to carry in their mouths &#8212; it keeps dropping!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>My conclusion?<\/strong> This is a pretty good toy. I would not recommend it for those doggies that like to chew (like me). <\/p>\n<p><\/font><font color=\"#FF0000\"><strong>Toy #5: Wubba Ballistic Squeaking Dog Toy<\/strong> from Kong<\/font><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews14.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nLook at my new Lion Wubba!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews15.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s MINE!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews16.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nThis toy is great for <em>shaking <\/em>and <em>tossing<\/em>!<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center>Here&#8217;s a video of me playing with my Lion Wubba!<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"470\" height=\"294\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/po_Q24MxcJA?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I love, love, LOVE, swinging my Lion Wubba back and forth!<\/li>\n<li>Made by the Kong company, who also makes the Kongs that mommy puts cream cheese in for mine and Nala&#8217;s snacks!<\/li>\n<li>Nice, bright colors make it easy to spot in the grass!<\/li>\n<li>I love all the legs! Hmmm&#8230; which one should I chew on now?<\/li>\n<li>Fun, self-play!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Not-So-Good Stuff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Though it&#8217;s made of heavy nylon, it is not indestructible.<\/li>\n<li>Swinging a Wubba could easily hurt another doggie or human.<\/li>\n<li>Not good as a chew toy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>My conclusion?<\/strong> I really like the Wubba, but as you can see from the following photo, I liked it a little <em>too <\/em>much. I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s inside the orange nylon, and I&#8217;m sure mommy doesn&#8217;t want me to find out. Always look over doggie toys to see if there are any rips, pulls, holes, or any stuffing hanging out (take them away from doggies if there are).<\/p>\n<p><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/April2011\/ToyReviews16a.jpg\" alt=\"Toy Reviews\" \/><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve already chewed a hole in my lion, and ripped one of his legs. \ud83d\ude41<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Woofs &#038; hugs,<\/p>\n<p>~Bailey<br \/>\n<em>I have no association with any of the companies mentioned in the above reviews.
