Today was nice… know why? Daddy stayed home in the morning! It was nice having him around for a while, until he left for work. There’s so much that needs to be done around here.

\nBefore I forget… I wanted to let you know that I added 21 pictures in April’s gallery<\/a>! I hope you have time to look. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Getting back to my day… it seems that once we get something done, there’s always something else on the list. Why is that? Why can’t we finish something, and not have anything else to do? We could relax and play all <\/em>day long! I guess it would get pretty boring, huh?<\/p>\n

Daddy has been working on the upper part of our deck in the backyard. He’s putting on all new wood, but he’s not quite done yet. <\/p>\n

\nHe’s almost finished redoing the steps.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

I can’t wait until he finishes… I’ve never been on the top part of the deck. I wonder how things would look from way up there? I bet I could look over the big fence and see all the houses around us. Maybe I could finally get a look at the mystery dog<\/a>. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Later in the day I asked Nala if she wanted to go outside with me. It was hot out today, but there was a slight wind… and in the shade it wasn’t too <\/em>hot. We walked toward the door, but before we went outside, I had to check on something.<\/p>\n

\nI looked outside to see if it was safe.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Sister
\nI didn’t want anything to hurt Nala.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

Know why <\/em>I didn’t let Nala run right out? ‘Cause just yesterday she was attacked by a huge, <\/em>doggie-eating snake! OK, so she wasn’t really attacked<\/em>… it just crawled under her. And it wasn’t huge<\/em>, and it probably wasn’t doggie-eating<\/em>, but it was BIG<\/em>! Well, I<\/em> didn’t see it… MT<\/em> did. But she said that Nala jumped really high when the snake crawled under her while she was out in the yard. So I wanted to be sure the snake wasn’t around.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s probably living underneath our deck! How scary!<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

After I made sure that it was safe, I told Nala to join me for a walk outside. <\/p>\n

\nWe had a nice walk, but I kept
\nwatching for that pesky snake!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nAfter our walk, we relaxed on the patio.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

I won’t lie… I can’t wait for that snake to show up again. I want a chance to chase <\/em>it! I know one of these days it’s gonna show itself. <\/p>\n

Oh! This reminds me… Last week I found something moving in the grass. You’ll never guess what it was! You’ll have to wait to see the video, but I’ll give you a hint… it wasn’t a lizard!<\/p>\n
