After months of thinking about getting a Thundershirt<\/a><\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font> for Nala, mommy finally decided to buy one. When she tried to buy it online, she found out that she wouldn’t have been able to receive one until after the July 4th holiday.

\nYep… mommy waited too long. We’ve been having thunderstorms for the past few days, and it’s due to storm for the next few days too. And the biggest fireworks holiday is coming up. Mommyyyy… how could you wait until the last minute?<\/p>\n

Mommy didn’t give up though. She spoke to a nice lady at the company, but there was just no way that they would be able to ship one out in time. She was even willing to pay for overnight shipping, but they said it could not be done.<\/p>\n

Then the nice lady looked up to see which retailers near us carried the Thundershirt<\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font>. It turns out that many veterinarians carry it (who knew?!). Our veterinarian does not <\/em>carry it, but the nice lady told mommy that there was a veterinarian in a nearby city that did <\/em>carry it. Mommy called them and found out that they had lots in stock. She looked them up and found out that they were located about 25 minutes away. All mommy had to do was sneak Nala out of the house (that’s right, mommy… I know you took Nala with you<\/em>), and bring her in the car to go get the Thundershirt<\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font>. Mommy wanted to make sure that she got the right size.<\/p>\n

\nNala wasn’t nervous riding in the car — she loves it!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nShe had no idea where she was going, but she was happy.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nWhen mommy and Nala entered the veterinarian’s office,
\nthey saw this stuffed doggie wearing a Thundershirt<\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font>!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNala didn’t know what they were doing there, but she
\nstarted to get nervous. She thought she had to see the doctor!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nShe started having a panic attack. Poor Nala!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nMommy finally got a medium size Thundershirt<\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font> for Nala to try on.
\nBy this time, she was shaking and didn’t really want anything but to leave.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNala was soooo happy to get back into the car. There’s just something
\nwonderful about the words, “Let’s go home” that make doggies smile. \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

\nWhen Nala got home, I checked out her new Thundershirt<\/font>TM<\/sup><\/font>.
\nShe got it just in time, ’cause last night it stormed again.<\/em><\/p>\n
