Last week, Nala and I spotted 2 little puppies out our front window. We barked and started going all crazy, and that got Taylor’s attention.

\nBefore I tell you about the 2 little puppies, I want to tell you that my family went away Friday night and left Nala and me at boarding camp! This is why mommy had me schedule posts and tell you that I wouldn’t be able to visit everyone’s blog for a few days. <\/p>\n

I think this has got to be the most traumatized I have ever been! I didn’t do well there at all — I gave myself a very high fever due to my worrying. I’ll start my boarding story tomorrow, and tell you all about my family’s trip! They might not have brought Nala and me with them on their trip, but we were there! You’ll see what I mean when I write about it. Teehee! <\/p>\n

Now about those 2 little puppies…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taylor came over to the couch<\/a> and looked out the window to see what Nala and I were barking at. She noticed the 2 little puppies. <\/p>\n

She continued to watch them as they walked all over. They went from one house to the next, playfully jumping on each other as they didn’t have a care in the world. They didn’t know to care that they were walking in the middle of the street, where a car could come around the corner at any time. They didn’t know that puppies shouldn’t be left alone, especially outdoors. They didn’t know that Nala and I were watching them, and they definitely didn’t know that Taylor was watching.<\/p>\n

Taylor got upset when she realized the puppies were alone. She called mommy and told her about the puppies, and how there were no humans anywhere. Mommy couldn’t come right home, so she called a neighbor. As mommy was talking to the neighbor on the phone, Taylor called mommy back and told her that some humans finally showed up and brought the puppies into their house. They lived just a couple of houses down, right down the street from us… directly in view of our front window.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to this past Tuesday<\/strong>… Nala and I spotted one of the puppies outside and we started barking. Taylor and mommy came over to the window to see if there were any humans around. There were none. There was also no sign of the other puppy. I wondered where he was.<\/p>\n

What’s up with these people? Don’t they know that doggies should always be supervised, especially little puppies? Mommy remembered when Nala was lost for about an hour last year (first time in her 12 year life — she ran out the door one day when daddy came home and he didn’t realize. Between Nala running out the front door, and me bolting out once after I came to live with them, it’s no wonder they immediately bought a gate<\/a> for the front entry way. There’s no way either of us can run out… well, unless someone doesn’t close the gate — and that just doesn’t happen). Thinking of Nala being lost, made mommy and Taylor angry… angry at the people who didn’t keep an eye on those 2 little puppies. Why weren’t they watching them? Didn’t they care?<\/p>\n

Mommy’s not really sure what breed it is, but she said it looks like it could either be a bulldog or a pit bull type. Either way, it’s probably going to get much bigger, and there are many reasons why you don’t want big dogs roaming the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

\nHe’s getting closer and closer to the road, but still no people in sight.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nAnd there he goes! I hope people driving in cars will be careful!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nHere’s a close-up — what kind of doggie do you think he is?<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNow he’s headed toward a neighbor’s home.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nAnd still no people are looking for him. But after about 15 minutes…<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA girl came out and started to walk him toward the house.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Lost
\nShe stopped right in the middle of the street…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Lost
\nAnd then scooped the puppy up and walked back to her house.<\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

Mommy was talking to her friend, who told her that she <\/em>would be calling someone to come pick up the puppies if she ever saw them alone outside again. <\/p>\n

This past Wednesday<\/strong>, Taylor was home with Nala and me. She saw the 2 little puppies running around in the neighbor’s yard across the street. Alone. Again. The neighbor played with them for a few minutes, then they ran off down the street. He is an older man, so it’s not like he could run after them. They weren’t even wearing any collars.<\/p>\n

Taylor called mommy to come home, but by that time they were already gone from our view. Another neighbor said they saw a truck come around that had cages in the back, and that maybe they were picked up. The owners of the puppies weren’t home when they got loose, and when they did come home, they didn’t show any interest in them being gone. It’s a very sad situation.<\/p>\n

Just yesterday<\/strong>, Taylor got a quick glimpse of the 2 little puppies outside! They both ran past our house, and Nala and I barked at them. Then immediately after, a car drove up, put the 2 little puppies into it, and drove back… where? To the house where the 2 little puppies live! They’re not gone!<\/p>\n

As much as I love seeing doggies outside the front window, I hope I never see these or any other puppies running around loose again. Puppies and doggies should not be running around unsupervised!<\/p>\n
