When my daddy brought home my big pool a few weeks ago, I thought that <\/em>was big. But I have really big pool dreams now…

\nRemember my turtle pool? Well, I don’t use that anymore, ’cause daddy brought home my big pool. Remember<\/a>? <\/p>\n

\"Big
\nIt started out as a very quiet morning; just me and my favorite toy.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

Mommy changed her clothes and gathered a couple of towels, boards, and a plastic bag with stuff in it. She put her flip flops on and walked out into the backyard… without me!<\/p>\n

\"Big
\nMommy left me and Nala inside! I watched her by the sliding door as she climbed up some steps.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

It turns out, that my<\/em> big pool isn’t the biggest <\/em>pool in the yard. The huge round thing that’s been standing on one side of our backyard, is a really big<\/em> pool!<\/p>\n

From inside the house, I watched as mommy got into the big pool and swam around. I cried and cried, and tried to find a way to get outside. After a few minutes, Taylor came to the door and let me out.<\/p>\n

\nI ran around the entire pool to try and find a way to get in.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nI jumped up on the sides, but couldn’t jump high enough.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nI finally climbed up on the same steps that mommy used.
\nDaddy didn’t finish redoing the deck yet, so I couldn’t go
\nall the way up on the top.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nI wanted so much to be with mommy.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nBut then I thought, “What a huge water bowl!”<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nI dreamed of jumping in.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nI could be in the pool in just a matter of seconds.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nIt was so hot out — it would be so much fun to splash in the pool.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nBut then my attention moved to the many dragonflies that were flying
\naround the backyard. Mommy says they eat mosquitos. That’s a good thing.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nCan you see them? Taylor says the one in the upper right
\nlooks like a golden snitch. Heh. \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nIf mommy won’t let me in the pool, maybe I could just
\nsit here and sunbathe. I just need a towel. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Big
\nOne day I am going to try this big pool! <\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

Mommy says she first needs to get me a life jacket (who knows if I’ll be able to swim), and a safety ramp for the pool. I’m never left outside alone anyway, but I’m pretty quick. Just in case I jump into the pool, I’ll need a way to get out. I’ll let you know if I ever try it!<\/p>\n
