Nearly decapitated dog dies from injuries:<\/strong> Rescuers say a dog that was nearly decapitated and left in the woods last week in Monroe County has died from the injuries. Police say the man who admitted to police to tying an electrical cord around the dog’s neck and leaving it in the woods to die would not face additional charges.<\/p>\n

Monterion Dionte Davis, 19, of Forsyth, was arrested on a charge of aggravated animal cruelty and was booked into the Monroe County jail on Friday. Sheriff John Cary Bittick told the AJC that that charge was the maximum Davis could face in the incident. Davis is being held under a $15,000 bond. <\/p>\n

Update on My Sibling Search<\/strong><\/p>\n

A couple of months ago<\/a>, my mommy contacted the rescue group that they adopted me from. She heard back from them, but so far they have no information on my 2 sisters. Mommy sent another email just a few days ago — one woman said the director is very busy, but that she will remind her next time she talks to her (she said she’s crazy busy). I’ll let you know if I hear anything back. I’m still hoping to meet them (or at least see pictures)!<\/p>\n
