Remember my last post about The Big Thing<\/a>? Well, it’s finally HERE!

I’m excited, but I’m nervous too! They said it was gonna take 3 days! <\/p>\n

Last night my daddy and mommy cleaned out almost EVERYTHING from the living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways. The rooms echoed when I barked, because it was so empty! They even took out the refrigerator, the stove, and the dishwasher, and put them on the patio. It’s a good thing they have a refrigerator in the garage, or they wouldn’t have a place to put all the food. Since they can’t cook, I guess they’re gonna have take-out for the next few days.<\/p>\n

Today some strange men are gonna come to our house (they’ll be disguised as “installation people”), and they’re gonna lay out tile on half of the floor. They’re gonna leave a walkway for everyone to walk on, since we’re not supposed to walk on the new tile for about 24 hours. Even Nala and I can’t walk on the new tile! Daddy took off the whole week so he could carry me outside to go potty! Mommy can carry Nala since she doesn’t weigh as much.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, they’re gonna lay tile on the second part of the floor. I think they’re also gonna grout the first half.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, they’re gonna grout the second half. It’s gonna be very frustrating for everyone, since we’re gonna have to spend a lot of time in the bedrooms. <\/p>\n

Another thing that’s gonna change, is that daddy is throwing out the big couch! You know, the one with the huge hole in the bottom. The one that stole a few of my bones and toys. The big, evil couch. Yeah, that one.<\/p>\n

Daddy said he’s gonna strip down Nala’s and my love seat, and use the base to create a new bed for both of us near the window. I can’t wait.<\/p>\n

I also can’t wait for Friday — that’s when The Big Thing will finally be over!!<\/p>\n

This week I scheduled posts, and I probably won’t be able to visit many of you. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
