Sometimes one just isn’t enough. Sometimes, ya gotta have another.

\nOur first gate was put in at the end of last year, soon after I arrived. <\/p>\n

\nI don’t remember life before this front gate…
\nI was just a little puppy. <\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

But I do remember life before <\/em>the inside gate.<\/p>\n

When the house 2 doors down was robbed<\/a>, mommy decided it was time to start leaving me out of my crate when they went away. Nala’s always had the run of the house when everyone was away, but me… I used to have to sit in my crate. I didn’t mind it though — my crate was a safe place to be.<\/p>\n

When I began staying out when everyone was away, mommy started leaving Nala inside my crate. They were afraid that I would hurt her accidentally with my paw, or my tail. I admit I’m very playful, and I don’t blame them one bit for doing that. <\/p>\n

But during The Big Thing<\/a><\/em> recently, mommy and daddy moved the front gate to the inside hallway to keep both Nala and me away from the work area. With the gate being in this new position, mommy and daddy discovered that they could leave Nala on the side with the bedrooms, and leave me in rest of the house. This seemed to work out well, so they ordered a narrower version of the front gate, and installed it in the inside hallway.<\/p>\n

\"Twin
\nThe good thing about the twin gates, is that now neither Nala
\nor me have to stay in the crate when the family’s away. <\/em><\/center><\/p>\n

Nala loves having more room to move around, and she enjoys having access to mommy and daddy’s bed. I don’t mind it as much, ’cause I didn’t like seeing Nala in a crate — it just wasn’t natural!<\/p>\n

And… since there won’t be a crate in the dining room anymore, this means more room to play!<\/p>\n

Ya can’t go wrong with more play space. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
