When I first posted about our copyrights being infringed<\/a> upon back in June, I realized that we weren’t the only ones who were very concerned about our rights. Many people put stuff on the Internet without any care of who takes it. After that post, we discovered that there were many people who do <\/em>care.

\n<\/font>Calling all NYC bloggie friends:<\/font><\/strong> <\/p>\n

My mommy was invited to an awesome invitation-only pet-related event in NYC (pets are welcome), but unfortunately cannot attend. We are looking for one person to go on our behalf — You would be going as an associate of My ParenTime’s Family Community (MyParenTime.com) & BaileyBeGood.com, and would need to gather and send any information (pamplets, brochures, samples, etc) to me. You would also need to write up your experience & offer opinions for a guest blogger spot on BaileyBeGood.com. I would prefer <\/em>you to have been my friend (commenting back and forth on each other’s blogs, etc.) for at least a few months, and to have your own blog (doesn’t need to be pet-related, though since the event is<\/em> pet-related, you probably should <\/em>have pets). Yesterday while coming home from a ride in the car, we noticed the car in front of us had slowed suddenly. They swerved out of the way, and then we saw something big in the middle of the road — it was a large, hard-shell turtle!! Mommy didn’t have time to stop, so she positioned the car so the turtle would go right under us, down the middle of the car. Since there were a ton of cars behind us, we couldn’t stop, and we couldn’t pull over because we had already driven too far. So mommy kept going until the next turn-around.<\/p>\n

When we finally got back to where the turtle was, a lady had already stopped her car, pulled over, got out, picked up the turtle and put him down in the grass on the divider. Mommy opened her window and asked if he was OK. The lady told us that after she pulled over, the car behind her hit the turtle. Poor thing! It was OK before that. He was pretty badly damaged and he was bleeding, but he was still alive. He wouldn’t come out of his shell though.<\/p>\n

After talking with the lady, we thought it was best to bring the turtle with us to the wildlife center near us — they have a wildlife hospital and would take care of the turtle if he could be saved. We don’t have any pictures, because there was no time — it would take at least 20 minutes for us to get there, and we didn’t even know if the turtle would make it. Mommy opened the back of the car and took out a towel, and the lady put the turtle inside it. It was then that mommy noticed how badly damaged the turtle was on the top and bottom. But he was still alive.<\/p>\n

We all raced to the wildlife center, and when mommy took the turtle out of the back, she saw his little face poking out of his shell. She was so happy that it was still alive. The wildlife center said we could check back on the turtle this Monday, to see whether they were able to save him. I will let you know what happens. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I’ve been uploading my videos to YouTube<\/a> for almost a year now — as of today, I have more than 50 videos! I embed my videos on my own website here<\/a> as well, and enjoy sharing them with all my website visitors. <\/p>\n

I used to think that once I uploaded a video to YouTube, it would only be shown on YouTube — I didn’t realize that when I allowed myself to embed my own video on my own website, that I was giving others permission to embed my videos on their website as well. During this year I learned a lot. I discovered that anyone could download a copy of my own videos for their own use (how would I know if they uploaded my video somewhere?) — the latest version of RealPlayer allows anyone to download videos, and also there are websites that help you save videos from YouTube (or other video sites). For example, if you just place “pwn” in front of your YouTube video link, you will see various links where you can download your video.<\/p>\n
