{"id":702,"date":"2011-01-05T18:44:43","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T02:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/home\/?p=702"},"modified":"2011-02-27T02:11:00","modified_gmt":"2011-02-27T07:11:00","slug":"can-cannot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/home\/2011\/01\/05\/can-cannot\/","title":{"rendered":"Can &#038; Cannot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve lived in my home for almost 4 months now, and from the very start I&#8217;ve learned many things&#8230;like where I can and cannot go.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>I can go&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the couches<\/li>\n<li>In my human sister&#8217;s room, but only when she is there<\/li>\n<li>In the kitchen<\/li>\n<li>All over the living room<\/li>\n<li>In the backyard (mostly with supervision because I eat <em>everything<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I cannot go&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the laundry room<\/li>\n<li>In the bathroom<\/li>\n<li>In the bedroom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/CanAndCannot1.jpg\" align=\"left\" alt=\"Can and Cannot\" \/>Now&#8230;I don&#8217;t mind <em>that much <\/em>about not being able to go in the laundry room &#8212; there isn&#8217;t really anything in there for me. But I like to follow my family all over and they often go in there. <em>Nala&#8217;s<\/em> allowed to go in there, so <em>she <\/em>can follow behind them. But me &#8212; I have to stop at the threshold and wait. And as you can see from the photo on the left, I don&#8217;t always stop&#8230;I sometimes sleep near the laundry room, and sometimes go <em>over <\/em>the threshold <em>just <\/em>a little bit! Shhh, I won&#8217;t tell if you won&#8217;t. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/CanAndCannot2.jpg\" align=\"right\" alt=\"Can and Cannot\" \/>Nala&#8217;s <em>also <\/em>allowed in the bathroom&#8230;and she makes a point of going in there as much as she can if anyone in our family goes in. I&#8217;m not sure what the big fascination is with the bathroom, but my family does go in there often&#8230;and they use lots of <em>water <\/em>in there (and you <em>know <\/em>how much I love water)! A few times I got a glimpse of some water raining down in there, but since I wasn&#8217;t allowed in there I couldn&#8217;t see what it was about. <\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.baileybegood.com\/img\/blog\/CanAndCannot3.jpg\" align=\"left\" alt=\"Can and Cannot\" \/>Nala&#8217;s <em>also <\/em>allowed in the bedroom. This one bugs me! The bedroom is like Nala&#8217;s room &#8212; the <em>entire <\/em>room! They tell me that since we can&#8217;t play nice together all the time, Nala needs a place to veg out and get away from me. <em>Get away from me!<\/em> Can you believe that? All she does in there is sleep, anyway. I sometimes try and sneak in there, but I don&#8217;t want to get into trouble so I stay out. <\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I stand just over the threshold and egg Nala on so she comes out and chases me around the house. That&#8217;s when we go crazy! But usually when this happens, my family opens the back door for us so we can run around out back and go nuts. <\/p>\n<p>Nala also gets to sleep on the bed in the bedroom. Not that my bed isn&#8217;t comfortable &#8212; it doesn&#8217;t even matter because I sleep all over the living room most nights anyway (couch, floor, etc). But I would love to sleep in the bedroom sometime. I&#8217;ve been in there a couple of times &#8212; it was heaven! Maybe if I didn&#8217;t go crazy and eat everything in sight, they&#8217;d let me go in. I don&#8217;t know &#8212; Nala probably wouldn&#8217;t be happy about it, and I don&#8217;t want to upset her. Maybe one day.
