Remember the little box<\/a> I told you about yesterday? Well, it wasn’t too long before Nala and I got to learn what was inside… Wanna see?

\nWhile mommy and Taylor were out, they saw turtles!
\nBut turtles weren’t in the box.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nAnd this cute little mousy fella.
\nBut he wasn’t in the box either.<\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

Then mommy and Taylor came home and Nala and I saw the little white box. We weren’t allowed to see what was in it, until mommy finished putting together this really colorful thing called a cage. I’ve never seen anything like it before.<\/p>\n

\nWhen mommy was finished, she put the cage on
\nthe floor. She said we weren’t allowed to touch it.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nI found the cage really interesting…
\nSo interesting, that mommy had to hold me back at first. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nThen I saw something moving inside… <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nOh my goshies! There’s something alive in there! <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nTaylor said his name was BUBBA.
\nHe’s her first ‘pocket pet,’ whatever that is.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI think Bubba likes me. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nNala tried to see Bubba, but I don’t think she saw him. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nNala: “Stop kidding with me — there’s nothing in there!” <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nThere’s Bubba! <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nNala: “Hey, there’s something moving in there!” <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nNala: “What IS that?” <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI found myself staring at Bubba the entire time. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI really wanted to play with him.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI watched every move he made… <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nIntently… <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI watched him explore his new home. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI watched as he climbed all over. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI never lost interest. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI couldn’t stop watching him! <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nLater when mommy put Bubba up on the
\ntable, Nala got a good look at him. <\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

Did you get a good look at Bubba’s first home? It didn’t even last one day — Taylor and mommy decided to return that first cage and buy a smaller one. Since Bubba is a Dwarf hamster<\/em>, also called a Djungarian hamster<\/em>, he was way too small to climb up in the tube to the top tower and spin on the wheel on the first cage. <\/p>\n

\nI can see Bubba really well in his new home. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nTaylor removed one side so Bubba could come out. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nThis cage had more tubes for him to climb in, and the
\ntube to the tower was smaller so he could climb up. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nIsn’t Bubba a furry cutie? <\/em><\/p>\n

\nHe’s always moving, so it’s hard to get a good pic. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nBubba’s like a tiny, round, little ball of fur. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"Bubba\"\/
\nI love Bubba. I just wish I could play with him. <\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

And with those last words, you’ll have to come back in two days, on Thursday, to see what happened to Bubba on his second day here. All I’m gonna say, is that I just wanted to play with him. *sigh*<\/p>\n
