It was really nice the first day after Bubba<\/a> came into our home. Taylor let Nala and me look at him while he was inside his cage, and I got really excited when I heard Bubba’s name…

Just a couple of days after Bubba came to live with us, everyone went out for a few hours. Taylor had Bubba’s cage on the floor, and surrounded it with a colorful hamster fence, in case he happened to get out if she left his cage open. <\/p>\n

Taylor made sure to close her bedroom door, as she always had, but somehow… some way… I got inside.<\/p>\n

When everyone got home and Taylor went into her room, she noticed that Bubba’s cage was not where it was when she left earlier — it had been moved and pushed up against her desk. The fence was taken apart, and many pieces of the cage were scratched, broken, and removed. One part of the cage was open, and the inside plastic flooring had fallen in on one side.<\/p>\n

Everyone is assuming that I<\/em> had something to do with this. Isn’t there any other way that teeth marks, scratches, and broken plastic, could have gotten there? As you can probably imagine, I’m not allowed to see little Bubba up close anymore. As of the night this post was written (2-4-12), I wasn’t allowed in Taylor’s room. Even though Bubba’s way up high on a shelf now, I think it’ll take a while until I’m allowed inside again. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

2-9-12 Update: I’m allowed in Taylor’s room now, but still not allowed to see Bubba up close. *sigh*<\/em><\/p>\n

\nTaylor got a little round ball for him to roll around in. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nHe didn’t like the ball as much as I enjoyed watching him. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nfencing that surrounded Bubba’s second home. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nI gave Bubba a nudge, ’cause he didn’t
\nseem to know how to move in that thing! <\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

\nMommy says that the third time’s the charm. This is the
\nmost houses any hamster has probably ever had in just 2 days!
\nThe house in the center is the one I broke. *sigh*<\/em><\/p>\n

\n(Nope! Bubba has a fourth house<\/a>!) <\/em><\/p>\n

\nTaylor and mommy say he likes this one the best. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nHe looks happy, doesn’t he? <\/em><\/p>\n

\nThis is my view of Bubba now. I can still kinda see
\nhim, but it’s not the same as when he was on the ground. <\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n
