I recently received a request to review Canidae&#174<\/sup><\/a> dog food. Refuse food? I don’t think so!

I’ve never heard of Canidae&#174<\/sup> dog food before, but since I received this review request, I learned that they are a natural pet food company, and produce a few different types of foods and treats for doggies and kitties. For this review, I chose pureElements<\/em>, a grain-free formula for doggies. <\/p>\n

This food is good for all doggies — puppies, adults, working doggies, and even older doggies like my furry sister, Nala. <\/p>\n

\nI received one voucher for a 15lb bag of dog food.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNala & I were very interested in what was in the bag.
\nIt didn’t look like our every day doggie food!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nWe couldn’t wait for mommy to open the bag!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSince mommy didn’t want to give us a full bowl
\nfor our dinner, she decided to give us some of the
\nnew food for our breakfast. She had us sit down so
\neach of us could try a piece or two at first.
\nNala got to try a piece of the new food first.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nShe always gets to go first — why is that?<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNala seemed to like it, so then it was my turn. <\/em><\/p>\n

\nI started chewing it… but<\/em><\/p>\n

\nI usually spit out new foods at first, and
\nthis time was no different. Out it went!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nI eventually chewed it up, and mommy gave us more.
\nBut this time she made us wait until she said, “OK.”
\nMay as well get in a little training, huh mommy?<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSince we enjoyed the new food, mommy filled up
\neach of our bowls for breakfast. Nala and I usually
\nget little pieces of bread in with our food, well,
\n’cause we like that. But mommy didn’t put anything
\nin with this new food — and we both ate it!
\nIt was kinda shocking to mommy.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nAnd looked like she was really enjoying it.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nThat NEVER happens. Shocker!<\/em><\/p>\n
