Occasionally, us doggies have to go to the doctor. We don’t like it, but we kinda have no choice.

\nRecently, it was Nala’s turn. She was due to get her 3-year rabies vaccination, and get her new county license tag. Mommy’s been collecting license tags for a few years — she even has a couple from her previous doggie (from before she got married). <\/p>\n

\nMommy doesn’t have all of Nala’s tags, but she does have 9 of them.<\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n

I wanted to go with Nala to the doctor’s, but mommy didn’t let me this time. I hate being alone in the house. Mommy knew that, and was afraid of what I would do when they were gone. But she still <\/em>didn’t take me with them!<\/p>\n

\nNala used to like riding in the car, but
\nshe doesn’t get too excited anymore.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nI think Nala was thinking that mommy
\nwould leave her at the doctor’s office.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nShe wasn’t too anxious to go inside.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nA nice lady led Nala into a room…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nThen she had to sit and wait.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nBut Nala didn’t feel like sitting.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nShe paced the floor…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nJumped up on mommy…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nJumped back up on the bench…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nSniffed some treats that she said smelled really good…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nAnd waited some more.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nThen the doctor came in. He was the same doctor
\nthat I’ve been seeing since I was a little puppy!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nHe gave Nala an overall checkup, and said that she
\nhas some limited motion in her legs. He also said that
\nit was really good that I continue to help her get some
\nexercise each day. He said that was probably why she
\nis in such good shape at her age. \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nThe doctor gave Nala her rabies vaccine,
\nthen she was all done!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nNala was so happy to be back in the car.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nThat’s a happy girl. \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nOh my goshies — I was sooo happy when they got home!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Nala's
\nI couldn’t wait for mommy to open the gate.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nMommy let Nala and me out in the backyard,
\nand I made sure she was OK. And she was! \ud83d\ude42<\/em>
\n<\/center><\/p>\n
