Dogs in Cars, New Series

Since I’ve started riding more in the car, I’ve been seeing other doggies riding in their cars. That got me thinking about a new post series — to photograph other doggies riding in cars! You’d think this would be an easy thing to do, but it’s been pretty hard! Lots of times, when my mommy was ready to take a pic of the doggie, they would either lay down in their seat, or their mommy would shut their window! I was lucky enough over the past few weeks, to catch these lucky doggies. This is one post in an ongoing series…

I’m taking part in Mayzie’s Rescue Me Week! Look below for today’s adoptable pet. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now for the first Dogs in Cars at BaileyBeGood.com!

Dogs in Cars: Part 1
This is a great dane sticking his head out.
Taylor almost got him facing in our direction.

Dogs in Cars: Part 1
This little doggie was sticking his head out the window…
until my mommy took her camera out. Then he got camera shy.

Dogs in Cars: Part 1
This little doggie couldn’t stop looking at us!
When his mommy saw us take a picture, she held him up
and made him dance until the traffic light changed. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dogs in Cars: Part 1
These two doggies are not traveling safe in their car.
Their human doesn’t know enough that they should be inside
the car, both in their seat belts. This is very dangerous.

Dogs in Cars: Part 1
Hey, there’s me! ๐Ÿ™‚

Watch for more Dogs in Cars! Do you have a picture of your doggie in a car? Send it to me and I’ll post it with the next installment! Make sure you take the pic of your doggie from the outside of the car, as in the above 4 photos.

If you include your doggie’s name and your blog’s name/URL, I’ll be sure to list them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now for Mayzie’s Rescue Me Week Adoptable Pet…

Rescue Me Week

From Mayzie’s Blog:

During the week of November 7-11, we hope all of you will help us honor Grampa J by putting a pet who needs a home up on your bloggie. It can be any kind of pet whoโ€™s looking for their furever home โ€“ dog, kitteh, bird, goat โ€“ it doesnโ€™t matter. And you donโ€™t have to know them pawsonally. You can just go to Petfinder and choose one in your area if you want.

THEN โ€“ oh gosh, I LUVS this part โ€“ the very next week, weโ€™ll draw FIVE names outta everybuddy who pawticipated. And each of those 5 furends will get to choose a rescue for us to donates 100 green papers to! Thatโ€™s 5 rescues thatโ€™ll gets 100 green papers each!

How about that? Youโ€™ll be helping to gets the word out about a pet who needs a home AND you could win 100 green papers for your favoritest rescue! Gosh, I just know that would make Grampa J awfully happy.

Great (and challenging) idea for a series. We would be boring to photograph because we are mostly in crates when we ride. Our parents would say that none of those doggies are riding in a very safe manner. Maybe that first car is stopped, but we are not allowed to stick our heads out of the windows, (unless the car is parked or stopped). We are not allowed in the front seat, (we guess if the dog is buckled that is better but it isn’t the safest place). We are too big, but we don’t think it is safe to ride on the diver’s lap either. And we are never allowed in the open bed of a pick up truck (unless in a secured crate).

We wonder what our neighbors would think of a llama? lol

  6. Suka says:

    hey Bailey,

What a fun post! I will try to have my human take a photo of riding me in the car! Of course, that means I will have to try to get my human to give me a ride in the car! BOL! You look very handsome sitting in your car. Such a beauty you are! :->

And we, my human and I, agree that pups should not ride in the back of pick-ups. We see it often, even in rain and winter weather, and it makes us nervous. So dangerous.

Larkin is so cool! Such a pretty girl! Taylor did a great job in picking a pet to showcase. Paws crossed that Larkin finds a wonderful family to give her a huge forever home and yard!

Great idea Bailey, but I will bet getting those pics is not that easy! Hey, that llama is vey pretty!

  8. HoundDogMom says:

Oh my a Llama. Have never seen one of them looking for a home. We hope he finds a good home soon. We love the dog car riding pictures and we agree dogs in back of trucks are not safe. It scares us way to much that they could jump out. Have a Great Day! Sniffs, The HoundDogs

  9. Frankie Furter says:

  10. Mr. Pip says:

A Llama! My Aunt had a Llama years ago. I sure hope Larkin finds a home soon.

    Your pal, Pip

P.S: I will try to get a picture of me in the car and send it to you.

  11. Hey Bailey,

Glad to see you’re not camera shy, you look so chilled in the front seat!!

I wonder where all the Doggies are going? We get all worried when they’re not strapped in properly!!

I’ll have to have a look to see if Mum’s got a pic of me from outside the car….

    Have a fun weekend guys,

    Your pal Snoopy ๐Ÿ™‚

    • bailey says:

Ah Snoopy! I bet you’d make a FINE police dog! We worry about the doggies in the back of the truck, too — don’t their humans know they’re not safe?!

I’d LOVE to post a pic of you inside your car! ๐Ÿ™‚

      So glad you’re feeling better!

      Woofs & hugs, <3
