*7 days till Nala’s surgery*
I’m giving today a BIG Paws Up! Remember yesterday… my family was out of the house for most of the day. Well today, they scheduled one thing and one thing only — time with ME!
First we went for a ride in the car. I’m still not totally enjoying the car ride. I can go for short trips (like 10 – 15 minutes at a time), but any longer than that I begin to feel sick. This past weekend when I rode in the car with mommy, she had to pull over at least once each trip. I would make sounds like I was going to be sick all over the car, but then she would pull over and I would have a miraculous recovery. Then she would drive home.
When I ride in the car, I prefer to sit in the front seat. The seat belt doesn’t pull as much, and I get to see everything! Who wants to sit in the back where a big ol’ seat blocks your view? Besides, I love being close to mommy. π
There’s just something about a moving car that still gets to me. I hope this doesn’t last forever, because I love being with mommy outside of the house. I think riding in the car could be something I really enjoy one day.
If you haven’t yet figured it out, mommy loves taking pictures with her camera. She has what they call a digital camera. Not sure what that is, but it’s small, and she can bring it all over with her and take pictures of me whenever I look cute. Which, I think, is all the time. Many of the pictures on my site were taken by mommy, with her camera.

After a while I tried to jump up to reach it. I couldn’t.
Many of the pictures on my site were also taken by HS. But she doesn’t only take pictures of me. HS loves taking pictures so much, that she just got a new camera. I hear it’s a real camera, a digital too, but much bigger. It’s supposed to take really nice pictures.
HS also just got a new lens called a fisheye lens. It doesn’t look fishy, but it’s supposed to make pictures look kinda all round and distorted. The photo below is one of the pictures she took of me today, with her fisheye lens.
And that was my day today. I can’t wait to have even more days like this — it’s a puppy’s dream!

What a dreamy day! I think there’s something special about the days I plan nothing at all but a long walk with the girls. I usually learn something new about myself and my kiddos. I love watching them take in the world around them π

I like the car too. But mommy and daddy make me ride in the back seat and wear my seat belt. Mommy says “dogs and airbags don’t mix”. I can see out the side window and see mommy in the front seat and I am pretty happy. Hope you get better at riding in the car soon.

Car rides are awesome & I prefer sitting in the front passenger seat too. Hoomie Melissa always let me sit in the front with two A/C blasting right at me. It feels nice & I get a very good view in the front. I don’t mind the back too because my hoomies have done some “renovation” on the back section. They made it into one big bed. They pushed down the back seats, added some padding & pillows so it’s all big & spacious & comfortable for all 5 of us big doggies.
You & Nala are very pretty girls. That’s a very nice monster camera your mom has there. My hoomie uses a “professional” camera too but it’s not working very well anymore. Well, she got it as a 2nd hand.
