A few things…

*6 days till Nala’s surgery*

I have a few things I’d like to share with you today. One thing is… a couple of my friends, Buddy & Bear, mentioned on their blog the other day that they share water bowls. That got me wondering… do you multi-doggie households share food & water bowls? I thought I would post here what I commented to Buddy & Bear…

SHARING water bowls?! Like no way! Nala would never, ever allow me to drink from her water OR her food bowl. From the time I was brought home, I’ve had my very own bowls, and was taught not to go near Nala’s bowls.

Nala doesn’t drink as much water during the day as I do, so she only gets new water twice a day. Me? I drink like there’s a drought, and let mommy know when my bowl needs filling. If no one fills the water after I dig in the empty bowl, I have a back up plan. There’s nothing like a ceramic bowl rolling across a tile floor, to remind everyone that I need water. Muahaha… works every time. 😉

Also, I want to wish my friend Rudy a very happy birthday! He’s 1 year old today! If you have a moment, pop on over to his blog and send him some birthday wishes!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RUDY!

Another friend of mine, Gus, hurt his back and isn’t feeling his best. If you could visit his blog and send some furry healing wishes, maybe he’d feel better real soon!

Gus’s mommy mentioned that they keep track of Gus’s medical stuffz on the computer. I asked my mommy if she keeps track of my stuffz, and she told me she uses a checklist book to write down all sorts of stuff about me. The book is called, “My Dog’s Checklists & Journal,” and it lets her keep track of lots of stuffz, sort of like a baby book about ME. Click here to see the book mommy uses. 🙂

I told all my friends about your boo boo, Gus, and I’m gonna send lots of puppy prayers and hope you’re OK real soon.

FEEL BETTER, GUS!

I know there’s one more thing I wanted to tell you about before I have to get off the computer. Oh YEAH…

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!

We don’t celebrate this holiday, but we like to dress up in green anyway (it’s also Taylor’s FAVORITE color!).

Don’t I look all St. Patricky?

A Few Things

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, everyone! Happy Birthday, RUDY! Feel better, Gus!

OOh, and don’t forget to vote for me, once per day, until next Monday morning! Put your paws on the following site: Bark Your Vote Tongue Tacular Fan Voting Page. Thanks everyone! 🙂

Big woofs & hugs,

~Bailey

  1. We two dogs share a food bowl and a water bowl. Sometimes Sammy-Joe (the cat) shares too! He even munches on our food! We are really great at taking turns eating… and if Mama put out two separate food bowls and two water bowls, we would just eat each other’s food and drink each other’s water anyway!

You look so festive in your green! We stopped by Rudy’s party and will send our best wishes to Gus.

Against my better judgement, I share my water bowl with the kitties, but they don’t leave too many kitty cooties in the bowl, so I am good and I share!

We even share water bowls with the kitties!!! But Dunc refuses to use the inside water bowl, he only drinkz from the outside waterbowl…maybe it’s cause the kitties don’t use that one??

Oh and you look super in green!!

  5. Hi! Bailey! We put in our vote! We like your blog today! Very nice, very friendly! Just like you! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

  6. We forgot to say THANK YOU for sending your friend, Tanner over to our blog! Tanner left a very kind message for us and we thank you so much for giving Gus a shout-out!

  7. Thank you so much, Bailey! Your sweet words mean the world to us. We’ve truly made such caring, supporting friends through blogging.

We wish we could report that everything was better, but unfortunately we’ve had a few setbacks. We’re headed back to the vet tomorrow to make sure it’s not something else.

    Happy *almost* Friday!

Awww, you are so welcome, Lori! I’m so sorry to hear Gus is still not better. I will keep him in my puppy thoughts every day! I’m glad Tanner was able to stop by and send his wishes too!

And also thanks so much for voting for me!

      Big woofs & hugs,
