I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!! This was my first holiday with my family, so I had no idea what to expect.
My family stayed home — they hate to leave Nala in the house alone during the 4th of July since she gets so scared. She did wear her Thundershirt during the nighttime fireworks, but I’ll tell you about that tomorrow. π
Today I wanna tell you all about the 4th of July burgers, sparklers and fireworks!
It was really nice out for part of the day… until the thunderstorm.
(More about the storm tomorrow.)
Mommy cooked burgers and hot dogs for dinner!
She said Nala and I could have burgers! And she made
special shaped paw-burgers just for us!
Mommmmy… 3-toe paw-burgers?! Are we dinosaurs?
Nala and I were so anxious to eat our burgers.
Couldn’t they cook any faster?
Hey!! These aren’t our 3-toe paw-burgers!
Come on, mommy! We weren’t gonna woof them down!
Ah! Who cares what shape it is — it’s delicious!!

Later when it got dark, we went outside to light some sparklers.
I jumped and tried to eat the sparks. Apparently, this is not a good idea.
But the light was so shinnnnny!
I was distracted by the sounds of fireworks and lights in the sky.
Taylor took some fireworks pictures.
I started to get a little scared (but not too much!) at the big booms.
They were really loud! It was a good thing that Nala stayed inside.
I did LOVE those sparklers though.
Mommy made me sit down, ’cause I kept trying to eat the falling sparks.
I was happy to go back inside… there’s just something about burgers
& fireworks that tires a puppy out!

BOL! Eating sparklers! You are funny! I don’t think you would be able to taste them as they are burning your mouth! So furry happy you enjoyed the fireworks. Those are great fireworks pictures.
That was furry nice of your mom to cook both you and Nala yummy hamburgers. And very cool she put them into special shapes. Your “puppy face” photo is adorable. How could any human say “no” to that face?

Hi Bailey, thanks for visiting my blog. It’s always nice to have a new friend drop by. Besides my mom and dad, there are four of us in total. There’s my sister Tuvia and my brothers Owen, Jetta and then there’s me. I think that you guys had a great 4th of July. I’m glad that you didn’t eat the sparklers though. The burgers looked way better.
For your first fourth , Bailey, you sure had a good time. We get burgers too but we have never had paw-shaped ones – Mom has to do that for us too. Ciara tries to catch fireflies so she would probably like those sparklers too.

Hi! Bailey and Co. It looks like you had a great Fourth! We did too, but our personal assistant has been very remiss in taking pictures! Sez she’s busy! (Ha!) We are having very, very hot weather here. We got a wading pool. Personally, I prefer the AC but the Bear likes the pool. He seems to get hotter than I do. He goes out and stands in it. It must be because he is still a puppy. He also has a heavier double coat than I do! Have a happy day!
