The Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER

The installer man stayed really late the 3rd and last day of the tile installation (last Thursday) to make sure he finished the tile. But last Friday… last Friday, he didn’t return.

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Nala and I had enough of this tile installation…
we couldn’t wait for it to be over!

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Yay, our floor is done! 🙂

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Wait! What’s this? Our floor is done, and we have to sleep on BOARDS?!

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Mommy and daddy said that the grout is still drying.
Nala and I can’t put our paws on the floor just yet. BOO!

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Daddy made a path with boards, so Nala and I could go potty!

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
You know how hard it is to walk on a narrow path like this?
V E R Y!!

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
Daddy had to mop the floor a few times to get the grout haze off.

Nala and I don’t have to spend much more time behind the gate. We just LOVE the new floor, but the grout still needs to be sealed. I think we’ll probably be seeing a bit more of the hallway gate in the next few days.

Big Thing: Tile Installation is OVER
And that’s the END of The Big Thing! From now on you’ll be seeing
Nala and me on our NEW FLOOR! Teehee!! I’m so excited! 🙂

Thank you all for your birthday wishes for my human sister, Taylor. What a wonderful birthday she had. I’ll get my photos together and share some special moments soon. 🙂

  6. The Big Thing came out just wonderfully well, Bailey. Too bad the guy didn’t do all that cleaning so Dad wouldn’t have to do it now. Pretty soon you and Nala can do zoomies, but be careful, we hear tile can be very slippery when wet.

  10. Hi Y’all,

I like layin’ on the tile bathroom floors when it’s really hot and I can’t get cool. Looks like y’all have lots and lots of tile on which to cool off. Most of the time I like layin’ on my beds though, or at least a scatter rug, cause all the wood and tile is hard on the elbows and knees.

    Y’all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
