So… it seems that Taylor, my human sister, has had the dresser in her room since she was a baby! Since that’s quite a few years ago, she thought it was time to have a new look. Remember the new TV stand that mommy put together just a few weeks ago? Well, now she has a new chest of drawers to go with it. The only thing is… we have to put it together.
I told Taylor that this new chest of drawers is going to match really well with her new TV stand. There’s lots to do, though! Some people have commented on the store site, that it took them 4-6 hours to put together! I hope it doesn’t take us that long! Heh, with me helping, it might take even longer!

First things first — check to see if all the parts are here.
Big screws, little screws, dowels, other metal stuffz…

Organize all the pieces of wood…

This is the glue that came in the box.
How can you fill holes with glue from a little baggie?

Can we use FrogTape to hold the wood together?

Nope! We’re gonna use Gorilla Glue for wood!

Mommy, let me have a look at these instructions…

Ahhhhh, place part HB into part FB. Rightttt…

Nala, don’t just sit there… come help us!

*Sigh* This is sooo confusing…

Mommy, just put that big screw thingie into that hole.
Nala, where did you put the screwdriver?

“zzzzzzzzzzzzzz…”

Looks like we’ll have to do this ourselves, mommy.

Finally, it’s starting to look like a drawer!

Ta da! Five drawers done, and it didn’t take us 4 hours.
It only took 3 1/2 hours.

Is it time for a break yet?
All this hard work is making me sleepy.

Mommy poured some glue to prepare for some more dowels…

Uh oh.

Taylor, we need your help!

Oh no, the holes aren’t deep enough for the dowels.
What’s up with that?

Ah hahaha… this is going to take us all day.
Stay tuned for Part II…
Lotsa woofs & hugs,
~Bailey

I’m just happy you didn’t get any of that glue stuff on you, just imagine if you stuck your paws to the floor – nope, don’t imagine it…..:)
