Couch Cam: Part 2

My mommy was at it again — recording me when she was out. I guess the last time wasn’t enough to prove that I wouldn’t go on the couch. So how did I do the next time?

I’m taking part in Mayzie’s Rescue Me Week! Look below for today’s adoptable pet. 🙂

Now for Couch Cam Day 2 (10-31-11)…:

I was a good girl (and of course Nala was too)! Not that I didn’t want to get up on the couch — I really did. Sometimes I stare at the couch and think about jumping up. But I decide against it. I’m still waiting for our couch. *Watcha think, daddy?*

I was good on this day, but you’re not gonna wanna miss Couch Cam: Day 3. Come back tomorrow! 😉

Now for Mayzie’s Rescue Me Week Adoptable Pet…

Rescue Me Week

From Mayzie’s Blog:

During the week of November 7-11, we hope all of you will help us honor Grampa J by putting a pet who needs a home up on your bloggie. It can be any kind of pet who’s looking for their furever home – dog, kitteh, bird, goat – it doesn’t matter. And you don’t have to know them pawsonally. You can just go to Petfinder and choose one in your area if you want.

THEN – oh gosh, I LUVS this part – the very next week, we’ll draw FIVE names outta everybuddy who pawticipated. And each of those 5 furends will get to choose a rescue for us to donates 100 green papers to! That’s 5 rescues that’ll gets 100 green papers each!

How about that? You’ll be helping to gets the word out about a pet who needs a home AND you could win 100 green papers for your favoritest rescue! Gosh, I just know that would make Grampa J awfully happy.

Mayzie

Today’s adoptable pet comes from Petfinder.com. I decided to list a nanday conure — the type of birdie that my mommy used to have (you can see a picture of her here). This little fellow’s name is Tiko, and he’s from Tampa, Florida. Click on his photo to read more about him. 🙂

We think that couch is just too much temptation for doggies. 🙂

Of course you and Nala were perfect angels and stayed off the couch, we would have expected no less. Still, we are VERY proud of you.

That is one very pretty bird looking for a forever home. Who would have guessed birdies needed rescue and second chances…we hope Tiko’s new family comes for him soon.

  3. What a wonderful “spy cam” I should set something like that up at my home!

  4. Don’t worry Bailey – this whole ‘new’ couch will eventually wear off and you will be able to have yourself a nice comfey spot in no time. It’s something hoomans go through – like a new car, they won’t let us it and then all of sudden they don’t care that much

    hey Bailey,

Tiko is a sweetie! I have a Blue Front Amazon Parrot, Porgy, and he is my best friend! So I hope some pup will adopt Tiko. Feathers and fur are a great combination! :->

I am so furry proud of you for not getting on the couch. That takes a lot of will on your part, so very impressive! I am curious, however, to see what happened on Day 3. I will be back!!

  7. Wow! You’re so good not to get up on the couch. Hope you get YOUR couch soon! That conure is bee-yoo-ti-ful. Mom worked at a vet a hundred years ago and the vet’s office fostered a conure named Kramer. He and Mom loved each other. He would sit on her shoulder while she worked at the computer and loved to clean her teeth. Sounds gross, right? But that’s what they like to do! BOL!

Well of course you were good, no doubt here!

  9. Phew Bailey,

It’s lucky you know when the ‘Spy Cam’ is working or you could really get busted on the sofa, those humans think the camera never lies!!

Keep up the good work buddy,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  11. So happy to see you did not give into the temptation. High soft places are the best. Hope you get your couch soon.

Oh Bailey… I am so very much glad that you are taking PAWt in Mayzie’s grrrreat thingy.

  13. Ohhhh, great idea! We want our own couch too! I hate sharing with those couch hog humans of mone! You girls are so good for staying off that one. I doubt I would be that good.

  14. Ooh, Bailey you must have a lot of what our hoomans call will power. That couch looks so soft and comfy, we kitties would have to jump up and try it out at nap time.
