A New View

I went someplace new today…in my house! My human sister had this rocking chair near her window — it was covered with stuffed animals, so I never really saw it before. Today, my sister cleaned off the rocker, and I tried standing on it. Oh boy…that thing is crazy! It’s a nice rocker, but standing on it is very hard! I felt like I was going to fall off — the chair was shaking me all over. So I did the next best thing and lay down. 🙂

When I was on the rocker, I tried standing up to look out the window. I had never looked out this window before — it was a different view than I was used to seeing outside the living room window. How exciting! But that darn rocker…it kept stopping me from looking out the window — I kept wobbling! My sister noticed and was nice enough to move the rocker away from the window, and replace it with the chest/bench that was on the other side of the room.

Wow — this was great! Now I had a nice, flat seat to stand on while I looked out her window! And what a view! I can see all the stuff that I can’t see from the other room! It’s a nice change…I think I like it! 🙂

While I was trying out the new view, Nala came into the bedroom. Of course she wanted to try looking out the window too. So I got down (OK, I was asked nicely to get down), and Nala jumped up and looked out. I think we would both love this view more if we could sit while looking out. But since the window is much higher than the living room window, we both have to stand while looking out. Don’t know how much this is going to happen, but it was nice for a change!
