I love when the mailman passes by our house. It’s not because I usually get any mail — who would send a puppy mail? Nala and I love to bark at the mailman! Ah, I love when we bark together at the window. I love the mailman… especially today.
Mommy got the mail early today, and guess what was inside? A calendar! But it wasn’t just any ordinary calendar. It was a calendar from Dogs in Danger — a national 501(c)3 pet adoption website dedicated to saving dogs on death row in municipal shelters.
Mommy didn’t tell me, but she submitted my picture to be included in the calendar, on September 13th, the day they brought me home. When she showed it to me, I was so excited! I couldn’t believe that my picture was in a calendar with other doggies! How awesome is that?
But see the other calendar — the one from 2006? I just found out that Nala had already been in a calendar…twice! Once in the above picture, and once in the picture below (with bunny ears!).
I guess we’re both famous! WOOOT to us!
