Wasn’t Supposed to Be…

This post wasn’t supposed to go like this, but unfortunately things happen beyond our control sometimes.

Somehow, an entire folder of photos and videos disappeared from my SD card as I was viewing them. They just disappeared. Does that happen? I guess so… ’cause it happened to me. 🙁

I told my mommy about it and she was very sad, ’cause we have lots of recent photos and videos on there. And this morning, mommy got Nala and me both new toys and took lots of pictures, but those are gone too.

Mommy downloaded a program to try and retrieve all those photos, so if it works out I’ll let you know what we used and how it worked out. It looks like it’s gonna take all day for the program to scan the SD card.

Soooo, in place of the really fun toys I was gonna review today, I’ll share a couple of other things.

One of the things is a little metal hangie thing that my mommy found in a store a few weeks ago. It says, “My Leash,” and it has a cut out of a doggie and a doggie bowl with a bone. Mommy hung it up on the outside of one of the closets that holds our doggie stuff. It has 3 hooks on it for our leashes and collars. I like it ’cause now we don’t ever lose our stuff. 🙂

Another thing I want to share with you, is a picture of the new lights mommy bought for in front of our house. She got them at Home Depot recently, and they’re solar powered. I like the pattern that they make at night.

For some reason, this year there are a lot of blue jays flying around our house. Mommy says there are a few that like to hang out in our mango tree… I can see why — they must like mangoes!

As I’m finishing up this post, the program that I was using to recover my photos, completed. Guess what? I think I got back all my photos. Videos too! There were more than 1000 photos recovered, so I’ll need some time to go through them. But I took a quick look and found many that were taken today. Mommy’s really happy. Woooof!

I found this picture while looking through the recovered photos just now.
It’s a picture that MT took of me from last Saturday. She caught me
keeping an eye on the worker in our house.

As a reminder… be careful when using an SD card. It’s very easy to delete something, but it’s not as easy to recover it unless you have the right program. And, you never know when things accidentally disappear.
