Teehee! We really didn’t get to go into space on July 8, but our pictures did!

Funny thing… early this morning when I was outside, I heard a really loud noise! Mommy was outside with me, and she seemed to know where it was coming from. I stopped on the deck and looked all over, but couldn’t find out where the sound was coming from. Then mommy pointed me in the right direction, and I saw that the sound came from the sky! Oh no! Was I really going into space today? Were they coming to get Nala and me?
Heh heh… nahhh, they weren’t. It was just a helicopter.

Mommy has a really busy week, so I won’t have much computer time. I whined, and so she had me schedule some posts ahead of time. How pawsome – what a great certificate you had and how funny – we had a big helicopter fly over our house this morning too!!!!
We are glad you and Nala didn’t REALLY go off into space! But the certificates are VERY cool and we loved the picture of you in the space capsule. Momma was kind of sad that an era of American discovery has ended…she originally went to college to study Aerospace Engineering.
How cool is that to have your Face in Space certificate – wish we had done that too.
We live close to a small airport that is home to all the traffic helicopters and medical transports, so they fly over quite often – very noisy. One time a couple of years ago, one even landed on the cul-de-sac right behind our yard because a young boy had fallen out of the window on the second floor of his home. Luckily he was A-OK.
Hope Mom won’t be busy too long, we love seeing you and hearing from you.
