Furry Friend, Anya the Boxer

I love sharing my furry family and friends with all of you, which is why I’m so happy to tell you about Anya. πŸ™‚

I personally don’t have that many doggie friends (*insert sad face here*), but mommy has lots of friends who have lots of furries! After seeing some fun pics of Anya, a loveable girl Boxer, I couldn’t wait to share her story.

It also happens, that Anya has the same name as a character in one of Taylor’s favorite animated movies. πŸ™‚

Anya was lucky enough to find her furever family the week after they sadly lost their brindle boxer girl, Kendra. Kendra had arrived at the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago, and as you can imagine, that left a huge hole in their hearts. Don’t worry… it’s now filled with love. <3

Anya’s a flashy fawn Boxer girlie. Her mommy says that she’s spoiled rotten!
I find that very hard to believe — just look at that face!

She just turned 4 years old!

She has a fluffy bed that’s all her own.
I can sleep anywhere, but I love sleeping up against doors!

Furry Friend, Anya the Boxer
Anya rarely goes on the furniture. Uh-oh, that’s a no-no!
She doesn’t like the word “NO.” But what doggie does? Teehee!

Sometimes she curls up into a little ball,
so she could sleep on her daddy’s pillow.

Anya and I have a few things in common, and one thing is that
we both love to SWIM! I love the water, too!

Anya’s favorite time is in the mornings, when her daddy comes home from the fire department. My favorite time is when my daddy comes home, too!

Her favorite food is anything edible (teehee!), but her family has her on an organic diet. I bet she gets lots of yummy treats to eat!

Anya’s favorite toys are racquet balls and stuffed socks (hey, those are MY favorites, too!).

Can Anya fly? According to this photo, apparently so! Look at that height!
Her mommy says she can jump 3 feet straight up in the air!

Anya has a little human, and they love each other!

Anya loves to play and be a clown. But I think she’s just a princess in disguise.

Anya hasn’t met a doggie or human that isn’t her BFF. Maybe we should plan a playdate!

Thanks for letting me share Anya’s story with you! πŸ™‚

I think Anya and you should totally plan a playdate, she looks like lots of fun!!

You have lots of Doggy friends too buddy, some of us just live a little far away for playdates, but we’re still your friend! πŸ™‚

btw, when Dad comes home is my fave part of the day, I make a huge fuss like I haven’t seen him in weeks, Mum doesn’t get the same treatment if she’s been out – but then, Mum’s around all the time, so it’s not the same, is it? πŸ™‚

    Have a fun day,

    Your pal Snoopy πŸ™‚

  10. Thanks for letting us meet Anya – she is a pretty girl. We have a boxer pup next door named Layla. She loves to come visit us at the fence, but that means she has broken through her invisible fence – that is not a good thing. We hope you get to have a playdate with Anya some day soon.

I’m a boxer whose Mommy picked me up after she saw me dodging cars on the highway. She is silly. I was just playing. Don’t tell her I was really scared and had no idea where I was.

I can’t tell Mommy how or why I was out in the street but she decided that was no place for me and after trying to find out where I was supposed to be, she just said “I’ll just keep you for myself.” That was what I wanted all along! She already had 3 woofies and I convinced her that one more would not matter.

I tried not to eat too much or become a bother but dang it, the food is so good and her house is so happy – I just have to cut loose.

I am her best friend and “mostly” stay right by her side. She gives me lots of hugs and treats, too! She is still NOT convinced that I am a lap dog, but I keep trying. πŸ™‚
