Do YOU remember where you were on 9-11-2001? I asked my mommy about it, and she said she does. She was volunteering in Taylor’s elementary school class that day. One of the teachers in a neighboring class ran into the classroom and yelled that one of the towers had fallen. Thinking it had to be a joke, mommy went on with attending to the students.
But it was no joke. Mommy called daddy and confirmed that it was indeed true. They have family in New York City, so they had reason to worry. Thankfully, our family made it through this horrible experience.
Nala and I would like to remember those who lost their lives on this day 10 years ago. We keep them and their families in our thoughts and prayers.

We’re sitting on our new floor (when we took this picture,
it wasn’t yet grouted). 🙂

I also thought that. I remember I was watching on the TV and thought it was a movie, then I have to see all the flash reports and it was real. I was shocked that time.
Thanks for posting a tribute to 9/11. In this way we remember those who lost their lives.
It changed EVERYONE’S world in some way or another – that is for sure
It was a time that none of us really want to remember or think about, but we will never forget.
Well pawed Bailey!

Nice tribute to 9/11

Hi! We’ve been watching the news today and all the special events. I marvel at the resiliency and courage of those who were involved in this great tragedy! They are certainly role models for this extraordinary country.
Although I wasn’t around yet, my Dad and Mom were and they told us all about it. We shall always, always remember.
Mommy and Daddy remember where they were too. Mommy was at home with MJ and Meg. Daddy was driving to work, on the south side of Baltimore. Daddy called Mommy and Mommy thought it was a joke. But it wasn’t. Mommy was really scared till Daddy got home that night. Then two weeks later, we had a tornado go through our neighborhood. Mommy said it was a really scarry time for them.

I writed about wot we woz doing in my bloggie but in a nutshell, I woz a young puppy in my crate at home, mom woz dropping off my sis Bandit, RIP, at the groomer on her way to werk when she heard it on the car radio, and the boy woz werking on a rooftop and seened the whole thing happen coz we live NJ rite across the river from NYC.
On the west coast, we were just getting ready for work and school when we heard the news on the radio. What a sad day that was.
Thanks for sharing your memories of 9-11 with us. I am so glad your family was all OK.
Your pal, Pip
hey Bailey,
What a scary story from your mom, but at least she was with Taylor so she knew she was safe. And we are furry happy to read that your NYC family was safe.
Very sweet tribute for 9/11. We, too, keep them in our hearts and prayers. And we also pray that Peace and Love will once again reign over the World so we can all live in happiness with no more wars.
