My Gotcha Day!

It’s my “Gotcha Day!” Exactly 1 year ago, I came to live with my family!

I was only 3 months old then, but as crazy as ever! I am so happy that my family decided to rescue another doggie after having only Nala for more almost 12 years.

I’m thankful to mommy, for bringing up the idea after seeing all the stories of homeless doggies on Facebook. I’m thankful for her talking to daddy about it, even though they’ve joked about getting another doggie for many years.

I’m thankful to daddy for this time, instead of saying no, he said YES!

I’m thankful to Taylor, for loving doggies as much as mommy and daddy, and for insisting on seeing me and my sisters that first night they found me on Petfinder.com.

I’m thankful to Nala, my almost 13 year old furry sister, for letting me play with all her toys that very first night I came home. I’m thankful to Nala for sharing her favorite couch, and for showing me all the great spots in the house to sleep in. And I’m especially thankful for her getting used to me being around — I know how difficult it must have been to have another doggie come into your space and take over everything that used to only be yours. Another thing… I’m thankful for you still loving me, even though I kept growing bigger than you. I may be bigger than you, but you’ll always be my big sister. 🙂

I’m thankful for all my bloggie friends I have met since I’ve started my site — you all have become so special to me. I talk to Nala, mommy and daddy about all of you as if I know each one of you personally. I care about you and think about you. I keep each one of you in my thoughts and wish nothing but good things for all of you.

Thank you for being my friends. 🙂
