I LOVE going for walks. It’s been a long, really hot summer, so I haven’t been on as many walks as I would have liked. But yesterday mommy surprised me!
She waited until late afternoon, ’cause it wasn’t as hot. As soon as mommy asked me if I wanted to go for a walk, my eyes lit up and I ran to the front gate. My mommy grabbed my leash, and we said goodbye to Nala and Taylor. I was so excited!
Don’t miss my Floppy Ears Video below!

When we got outside, I jumped up on the window to see
Nala looking out at me! I’m sure she wanted to go with us,
but it was just mommy and me time.
We took off walking to the left, but we didn’t get too
far before mommy stopped to talk to a friend of hers.
They talked for a few minutes, and then her friend
went back inside her house. But we didn’t leave…
I thought we were going to leave, but then mommy
had me sit down. I wondered what was going on.
All of a sudden, this little tiny furry creature,
came trotting out of the house right toward me!
Oh my goodness! What was this furry little thing?
It’s sniffing my foot!
It started sniffing me all over!
Then we stared at each other.
It jumped up and tried to reach my face.
Then it tried to crawl underneath me!
When it calmed down a bit, I gave IT a sniff!
Then it sniffed me back again!
And it kissed me on my head!
I heard mommy say this little creature was a doggie!
I didn’t know doggies came in extra-extra-small, but they do!
Mommy said her name is LuLu, and she’s a Morkie!
That’s a Maltese/Yorkie mix. Mommy’s friend brought
her home recently to join her 2 other doggies.
I had to be careful with LuLu — I didn’t want to step on her!
LuLu sure loved sniffing me. I was surprised that she wasn’t afraid.
I think I made a new friend. π
Morkie tongue! Teehee!
LuLu is 6 months old and won’t grow much bigger.
She sure smells like a doggie.
Mommy and LuLu’s mommy, said I was very gentle with LuLu.
LuLu is such a girly girl, and she loves PINK!
I think LuLu likes me. π
Isn’t she cuuute?!
We’re almost the same color, too!
We could be twins! OK, maybe not. π
I had a really nice time meeting LuLu.
And I think she enjoyed meeting me, too. π
I still can’t get over how tiny she was…
And how she didn’t let her small size
stop her from hanging around with me.
We stayed with LuLu and her mommy for about 15 minutes, and then it was time for us to go. We had some walkin’ to do!

As we walked, I could hear all the doggies barking at me
from inside their houses. I bet they wanted to join me outside.
We passed one doggie on our walk — he was an older German Shepherd.
I barked at him a little, but he didn’t seem too interested in me.
We kept walking. Sometimes I stopped to smell the plants.
We walked for about 20 more minutes, then it was time to go home.
There’s nothing like a good walk, meeting a new friend,
and spending time with someone you love. <3
Bailey’s Floppy Ears Video… There’s not really any sound to this video, but my mommy thought you’d get a little giggle out of watching my ears flop while I’m walking. OK, I admit it’s kinda cute. (There’s pretty good flopping after the :30 mark.) π

Hey Bailey,
I think Lulu likes you too!! She really is small!! I know a small one that looks like Lulu, but she’s called Daisy – she doesn’t really like me as she thinks I want her ball, I’m so not bothered about her ball, oh well, you can’t win them all over! π
Yep, your ears do look cute, kind like floppy radars on the front of your hair! Tee Hee
Have a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy π
Teehee!! LuLu’s sister is named Daisy — Daisy May! She also has a furry brother named Timmy. They’re both small, but not as small as her! π
Oh we love walks too. Torrey REALLY likes walks. Meeting new buddies is great too. What a cute tiny dog. Smaller than me even!
See ya, Roxy
Wow!! Are you sure that was a dog?!?! Good job of not going SQUISH! π
