If you know ME, then you know that I don’t get to play with Nala’s toys… ’cause I always tear them up. Heh. A few months ago, my mommy bought this cute little giraffe toy for Nala, but Nala didn’t really show any interest in playing with it. So it was put away.
The other day I was standing just outside the laundry room, looking inside. I’m not supposed to go into the laundry room — I’m not sure why, but I think it’s because there are really cool toys hidden in there.
The other day, I was watching mommy do the laundry in the laundry room. As I stood at the edge of the room, I glanced around to see if I could spot any of the toys that I knew my mommy hid in there. Soon enough, I spotted one. It was far into the room, so I couldn’t grab it. All I could do was stare at it.
Mommy eventually turned around to see me staring at something. She looked behind her, and saw that I had noticed one of the toys that she hid. It was Nala’s giraffe. Mommy saw how much I wanted that giraffe. I mean, it was time for a new toy… a different toy. A giraffe toy.
As mommy finished up the laundry, she made her way toward me… but not before scooping up the little giraffe toy, and taking it with her out of the room.
Oh yeah, I got a new toy!
I knew one day it would be mine.
Are ya gonna tell Nala you finally gave it to me?
Nah, it’s probably better that you don’t.
I am just so darn happy right now!
Do you know how long I’ve wanted this?!
This little giraffe toy is so light — I can swing it with little effort!
Why no, mommy… I’m not gonna eat the giraffe’s little pom poms.
But I AM gonna swallow him whole!
Nahhhh, I’m just kiddin’ ya.
Or maybe not…
NOM NOM NOM!!

Jack has several hidden toys as well. I save them for when he is driving me absolutely crazy because I know that he will have them torn open and de-stuffed before I can do anything about it! ๐

I’m wondering how Giraffe’s doing? Is it still intact? Here’s a tip, it’s way more fun if you’re gentle cos then you can play with it tomorrow and the day after and after…… you get the idea buddy!
