Cats & Dogs

Happy Friday, everyone! I want to share a few furries with you today — some cat cousins of mine, and a very good doggie friend. I’ve included some photos, and hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about them.

Just so you know…these kitties are not bully cats (bully cats can be found roaming outside my front window). These little kitties are a couple of kitty cousins! The orange one is a boy named August, and the gray one is a girl named April. April was adopted in April, and August was adopted in July Makes sense, right?

Meet my cousins, April & August!

April is almost 2 years old and likes cat food, and having her butt scratched. Hey everybody has something. She also likes her cow toy that moos. April dislikes water (she’s very afraid), and strangers.

August is almost 2 years old and likes salad — lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and olives, and he likes when you hide, jump out and run after him. He also likes yogurt and ice cream, but doesn’t get much ice cream because it’s not good for him. He likes to sit on the bathtub edge and put his toes in the water. Forget my toes…I would totally jump in. August does not like other cats (well, except for April), and he hates loud noises.

Meet my friend Sushi!

Sushi is a yorkie/poodle mix, and is 2 years 11 months old. She likes her favorite toy named Bear Bear, which is a Kong toy. She’s had Bear Bear since she was 10 weeks old. She likes to ride in the car, and prefers vegetables over meat. She also likes lettuce, soybeans, carrots, tomatoes, and especially likes the little tomatoes her human family grow, which they call little red balls. She also likes to help with gardening! What does she dislike, you may ask? Not much at all! Except for being brushed. I can relate to that, Sushi!
