The Return of Bully Cat & New Pictures!

It’s been a few months since I last wrote about Bully Cats — the neighborhood cats that sit outside, terrorizing all the house dogs. Since they’ve returned with a vengeance (one in particular), I thought this would be the perfect time to share. ๐Ÿ™‚

Before I get started, I wanted to tell you that I added a few more pictures in the March Gallery. Have a look!

I also want to apologize in advance to April & August, my kitty cousins, and to Link, my kitty friend, and all my other kitty blogger friends. I hope you don’t take offense by today’s post. You guys are no bullies! Right? Nah, you’re not. ๐Ÿ™‚

One Bully Cat, I’ll call him Gray, is so mean. He knows exactly what to do to make me mad. If you haven’t read about Gray & the other Bully Cats yet, you should read this post.

The Return of Bully Cat

Gray Cat loves to taunt me! He also loves to hide underneath our cars, right in our driveway! The other day when it was raining, Gray Cat found a nice dry spot underneath our car, and stayed there… like forever… right outside my window! It made me sooo crazy to see him there! I barked up a storm, and whenever I go crazy… Nala goes crazy. And whenever we both go crazy… mommy goes crazy. And when mommy goes crazy, she usually closes the window shade. I would control myself, if I only could.

Mommy says none of the neighbors like the cats… well, except for the one neighbor who feeds them all and lets them sleep in her garage. The cats not only drive house doggies crazy, they also have killed neighborhood birds, and they poop anywhere they want (and no one picks up after them). Grossss!

When Gray isn’t hanging out in our front yard, he can usually be seen right across the street at our neighbor’s house. Our neighbors have no idea they have a cat living right outside!

Gray has slept over so many homes… like today…

The Return of Bully Cat
Gray lounged on our neighbor’s front lawn…

The Return of Bully Cat
and then he decided to lay right in their
driveway, in full view of you know who!

The Return of Bully Cat
Gray, could you be any more menacing?!

It’s not like he doesn’t know we’re here — he looks right at us sometimes. He has to hear us barking and making a ruckus. The entire neighborhood could hear us… even through closed windows!

The Return of Bully Cat
When his caretaker, our neighbor, came out to
walk her dogs, Gray walked right along with them…
past our house, of course.

The Return of Bully Cat
Then tonight after dinner, Gray decided to move
closer to the road so we could have a better look
at him. But did he stop there?

The Return of Bully Cat
No! He came and sat right on our front lawn!

The Return of Bully Cat
Before it got dark, I caught Gray passing right in
front of our porch! How rude can one kitty get?

Nala told me that the cats used to jump the 6 foot fence and stroll through our backyard. I don’t know what she’s talking about, because I haven’t seen any cats in our backyard since I moved in. Maybe none of the cats are brave enough to visit our backyard anymore. It’s a good thing too, because I would definitely try to catch them.

The other night when mommy took me in the car to pick up dinner, I almost pulled my leash out of her hand. Know why? Gray was sitting right at the end of the driveway! I could see his eyes glowing in the dark… he begged me to chase him. But mommy held on tight, and the only thing I ended up doing was waking up all of my neighbors. *Sigh*

So that’s how it’s been around here for the past week. Will the Bully Cats ever leave? I doubt it. But stick around… I’d miss you all if you leave. ๐Ÿ™‚

Woofs & hugs,

~Bailey

Bad, bad kitties! I cannot blame you for going berserk – they are basically flaunting their bums in your face!!

  2. Well at least you have control of your backyard, Bailey!! We agree, it isn’t fair that cats get to run loose and we dogs don’t. We think that means we should rally all the dogs and start a protest!! That will keep them dogs in their place!! BOL

OMG you have rouge kitties too?!?! I just posted about my nemisis today…the white sock kitty!! We have to do something!!

OMG Anna!! So funny! What are the chances we post about Bully Kitties on the same day?! We must stick together — don’t let the Bully Kitties win!

  4. Hi Bailey,

You sure do seem wound up by Gray, maybe Gray wants to play with you? Ok, maybe not? So far I’ve only found one cat that wants to play with me, she lives near the school, but on the way we have to go past a few that are mean to me – I only want to play with them……I posted about the scary one who I encountered one day and she had feathers/fur hanging out of her mouth – now that made me stay away!!

Good luck with Gray – maybe one day you can be buddies? ๐Ÿ™‚

    Your pal Snoopy ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s sure possible that Gray wants to play with me, but somehow I doubt that will ever happen.

EEK! Feathers in the kitty’s mouth?! Yikes! I would stay away too!

      Woofs & hugs,

  5. Bailey, I know this kitty drives you crazy, but maybe he’s just in search of a good home? Perhaps he’s lonely and just wants someone to feed him and take him into their home.

He does have a “home,” Link — he lives next door. Our neighbor found him and brought him and another kitty home. She leaves food and water for them in her garage, and leaves the door open. Nala told me that once a couple of years ago, one of her friend’s “house” kitties got out and she came to our house to see if the kitty was in our backyard. It was!

I don’t think kitties should be allowed to live in someone’s house AND be allowed to run around the neighborhood. They don’t let US doggies, do it.

      Woofs & hugs,
