Well, it finally happened… mommy and MT took me to a store! Can you guess which one we went to?
It was a Petco!
After my traumatic doctor visit yesterday, mommy and MT took me to pick out a toy. This was my very first time in a store — it was very scary and overwhelming! So many things to see!
When we walked up to the glass doors, they opened all by themselves! Then some huge scary thing on wheels came rolling out of the door! It scared me so much that I ran the other way, right out of the store. Some lady was pushing it, and she laughed at me when I got scared.
I’ve never been in a store before… I wondered what there was to do here.
There were so many TOYS!
I got lost in all the aisles… how was I to choose?
Mommy, you have to help me!
I didn’t knock this on the floor, honest.
This store offers adoptions on the weekends.
And OMG, there were FISHIES!!
And BIRDIES!
I was mesmerized!
Soon it was time to checkout. I had hoped that
mommy picked out something fun for me to play with.
After mommy paid, we left the store. I wasn’t
as scared of the doors opening this time.
As mommy started the car, I turned around.
Whatcha got there, MT?
Oh! MT! You got a doggie toy!
Is it for me?
Haha… MT got herself a doggie toy!
She likes cute toys too! π
S Q U E A K!
Luckily, my mommy did buy me something new to play with. It’s supposed to be really sturdy and indestructible. I’ll let you know how that goes. π
UPDATE: I forgot to mention… the girl at the register gave me a chocolate chip cookie! Mommy said she should have asked her first, but I was glad to get one! It was yummy! π

I know! It was kind of a scary experience, though. Gotta watch out for those wagons!
I went to the store too yesterday!!! My HS wanted to go somewhere because the weather was so nice. I met a new doggie who gave me a really nice cookie. Then, while mommy shopped, I walked really nicely by her side. I even laid on the floor several times.
I have been there a few times before, but Mommy said I have never behaved that well. I got a new toy too and some yummy cookies! It was worth being good. Glad you had fun too!!!

Awesome! We shopped at the same time! My mommy said I was a very good girl too. And I got a cookie from the girl at the checkout counter, but she didn’t ask mommy first. It was yummy! π
