Happy Wordless Wednesday Peeking!
Before I get to today’s pics, I want to share a petition I came across on another website. Here’s some information about it:
-
Artist Tom Otterness has been commissioned by an unnamed donor to sculpt bronze lions at the Battery Park Branch of New York Public Library for $750,000. In 1977, Otterness was involved in another art project. He bought a shelter dog, chained it to a fence, shot it to death and filmed the murder in a movie he called ‘Shot Dog Film.’ This crime has tainted any work he shows, publicly, and it would be a disgrace for the NY Public Library to let this project proceed.
Please take a moment to sign this petition.
Now for today’s Wordless Wednesday pics!

The above pics were taken around the same spot that I enjoy digging in weekly. If you haven’t yet seen my digging rampage video, you can check it out here. π
Since my daddy has already begun to fix the deck steps, I don’t think I’ll get the chance again to stick my head underneath it. But I sure had fun trying!
Don’t miss the Wordless Wednesday blogs below!
Have a wonderful day!
Lotsa woofs & hugs,
~Bailey

Uh oh, Bailey! You’re lucky your parents tolerate that. I sure would’ve liked to see you crawl under that thing.
hey Bailey,
First of all, please accept my deepest apologies for calling you a “bro-fur.” I am horrified by my human’s mistake!! It was her fault! I could tell immediately by your beautiful face that you are a girl dog. So, I am sorry! If it makes you feel any better, I am always getting mistaken for a girl. *sigh…I think it is the name. At least I hope so!!
I love your digging pictures! I am not much of a digger so it is fun to see other pups enjoying the art of digging. And you seem to be a Master at it! ;-> The last pic of your head popping through is pawsome!!
Suka
p.s. That story is horrendous! Thank you for sharing and linking to the petition. I will be sure to pass it around and get the word out. How disgusting that a Library of all places would even be considering him.
Awww, Suka… no worries!! I figured it wasn’t you… our humans aren’t too good with names, huh. I think lots of people think I’m a boy, probably because of my name. π I can’t believe that you get mistaken for a girl though… you totally look like one!
You really don’t dig? I thought all doggies love to dig… ?
Thanks for sharing the link to that petition! We must let everyone know, so they can stop that terrible man.
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
Once your dad fixes the deck steps, I hope that doesn’t mean the end to your digging all together. We need to continue to see your funny digging videos!
Oh no way am I gonna stop digging! The spot where I love to dig (and have “weakened the soil,” as my mommy says), is right next to the steps. Actually, if no one watches me, I may be able to dig under the steps, but not be able to get back out because it’ll be all closed in! Ahhhh! I shudder just thinking about it!
But there are definitely more digging videos in my future… not to worry. π
Woofs & hugs, Gus!

Hey! Bailey! Love the hole! I’m not much for digging. Been there, done that kinda guy! My legs are a little short! Bear has been trying his paw at it but he thinks he’s got a gopher cornered!
Awww, Buddy! You should never give up digging! Maybe you can make lotsa smaller holes instead of one big one? teehee! π
Cute! I love the one where you can just see the ears.
Thanks for visiting me, and for your comment! π π
WOW you are quite the digger!
Teehee!! Thanks! I get enough practice. lol π
I’m not sure I’d like to see those lions – and I wouldn’t want my tax dollars to fund the project!
Sam
We wouldn’t want to see them either! Please do pass the link around so others can sign it too! π
Hey Bailey,
Are you getting up to mischief too? Tee hee, way to go Buddy!!
Your pal Snoopy π
Wooo hooo! We have to keep our families on their toes! Teehee! π
Your digging reminds Jan of a dog who used to dig under fence and try to encourage her sister to escape with her. Jan finally hauled a trunk of cinderblock home and blocked her access.
That “artist” … well, we can’t say he’s crazy publicly, even if we think he must be, so we’ll just not say anything about him.
Oh no… I hope my family doesn’t get cinderblock in my yard! I like peeking!
So where are you digging to?
Kari

Underneath the deck! But I didn’t get too far — digging a hole underneath something isn’t as easy as just digging a hole! lol
Oops, that was suppose to say–Digging is the BEST!
It certainly is!!
Uh, oh. I did that and got out to explore for a bit (until Mom thought I should come in). Digging is
So what was it you wanted to get to on the other side? Katy & Bailey want to make friends with the black Lab next door. I constantly find noses under the fence with Sheltie bums stuck in the air as they try to touch noses with the elusive Lab.
