OK, maybe it wasn’t FIRST, but it WAS the SLIDing door! Oh no!
I know… it probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do. I’ve done it before though, really. I’ve just never hurt myself while doing it.
It all started last night when my family decided to go to a movie around dinnertime. Usually when they go to a movie, they come right home after. But last night they stayed out for 4 hours! Needless to say, I was more than a little excited when they got home (heh, I’m always excited when they come home).
After I was let out of my house crate, I ate the second half of my dinner, and ran around like I usually do. I even went outside to run off some excess energy. My family thought that was the end of it.
But I decided to go all crazy on them, which I know leads them to open the sliding door and let me out. Now I go crazy… A LOT. So I don’t know why they didn’t prepare for it.
I prepared… I just might have misjudged the timing a little (or maybe mommy was too slow in opening the door). Whatever the reason, I collided head-on with the sliding door.

I’m sure my family thinks I’m crazy. Heh, they’ve probably always thought I was crazy. lol
Here are a few shots of me before my collision:

And here are some pics of me after my um, accident (will the ridge of my nose ever be the same again?):

There goes my modeling career.

Here are a couple of pics of me from this morning. How does it look to you?

You’d think that an accident like this would calm me down a little. Nope! I’m still crazy as ever. But that’s how I like it. π

Loves eating dog fur: I do!
Plays well with others: Sometimes!
Likes running into sliding doors. Oh, Yeah!
I’m never gonna live this down. *groan*
Tell the truth! Have any of YOU run yourselves into anything, and what were you doing the few minutes before your accident (’cause we all know it was an accident, right?)?
I’m taking part in the Saturday Blog Hop! Won’t you take some time to visit some other furry bloggies? Check out the thumbnails below. π
Countdown:
Days until I’m 1 year old: 7 days, on June 18!
Days until we blast off into space: 17 days, on June 28!

I want to let you all know that I’ve changed the word verification for comments. I know how frustrating the old reCaptcha phrases were to follow, so I searched really hard to find something that was easy-to-use for everyone.
If you are on a computer (desktop or laptop), all you have to do is drag the image that it tells you to, from the left to the right image. If you are using anything other than a computer (like an iPad, iPhone, or other mobile device), you just need to click on the correct matching image on the left (it will tell you). The image will then automatically appear over the image on the right.
If you are experiencing any problems, please let me know in your comment so I can alert the developers of any issues. I truly hope this image verification is easy for everyone — please let me know your thoughts! Don’t forget I have to personally approve your comment, so it won’t show up right away. π
Happy Saturday woofs & hugs,
~Bailey

Hey Bailey,
I did the same thing when I was a little pup, luckily I didn’t hurt my nose, poor you, learnt pretty fast not to do that again!! Sometimes I get caught out by the screen, but that doesn’t hurt – phew! π
Have fun, your pal Snoopy π
Ouch! Poor Bailey! Both me and the dogs have run into doors before – not even the sliding kind. I headbutted one about a month ago, in fact!
Oh, Bailey, so sorry you ran into the door. Sometimes that happens when us friendly-happy-energetic types get excited and dumb things are in our way! We sure hope your nose feels better, but you look gorgeous always!
You’re too sweet!
I think you might need to change the name of your blog to “Bailey Be Careful”. But the owie looks a lot better now. Be careful of those silly doors. I got my tush caught in one last night when we were coming in from our walk. Mommy moved faster than I did and the storm door caught my tail. But it didn’t leave a mark.

Goodness, you remind me of Pip!
Pip was playing in the yard one day and dad came by on the quad. She decided to run alongside it, but didn’t notice the wall. BAM! She was ok though! π
I has bonked into my mom’s head with my snooter afore and you think she asks if’n I is OK? Oh no, she just whines and carries on about how I almost knocked her teef out and stuff but I is telling you, she has a furry HARD head and bonking her is owie just like that glass door!
Nothing could spoil your looks, Bailey!

Im just waiting for the pups to do that in our new house

Ouch Bailey – we felt that! No, we have never run into a sliding door but we know someone who has – our human!! She’s a bit odd though because she walked straight into it, banged her nose and said sorry to the door, she said that’s her automatic response because she’s always walking into things! I’m sure the bump will go down and you’ll be as handsome as every, did your Mom put and ice pack on it for you, and hope you got lots of sympathy treats! Dex & Lu x
OW!!! I hope you did not fracture your poor snooter. Hopefully it is just a swelling that will go down quickly. Your snooter does look better the following day.
I have actually bang my head right onto the door frame & even the concrete wall too. Sometimes when I am playing, I don’t notice the door frame or the wall near me so when I swing my head to the side really fast, it just smacks right onto them! And HARD!!! Good thing, I am not brain damaged.
