The Big Thing… It started a few months ago when I was a little puppy. Little by little changes were taking place. First the carpet was removed, then the tile, and even the two couches in the living room, one of them being Nala’s and my couch by the window. This past Tuesday was the first day of the tile installation.
When daddy pulled up all the floor boards, it showed a green color paint on the walls behind them. Mommy says that that’s the green that they used back when they built the house. When they moved here, the appliances were also green!

When the installer man came in, he placed down two tiles,
took measurements, and started to bring in the boxes
from the garage as he needed them.
The tiles are about 15½″ x 15½.”

Daddy spent a lot of time sitting on our couch, on the patio!

Since mostly everything is gone from the living room
and dining room, mommy and daddy said they’re gonna
paint over all the walls!

While mommy, Nala and me were stuck in Taylor’s room,
the installer man was making so many noises in the other room.
I was on high alert and barked every time I heard the man talk.
It made me feel a little uneasy, because I’m not
used to having strangers in the house.
Nala and I spent a lot of Tuesday sleeping on Taylor’s bed. But I also slept in my house whenever I went a little crazy.

There was some thunder and rain in the afternoon, and
Nala started shaking… so she rested against mommy.

The tile installer man started by the front door…

He finished most of the living room…

Then he put some tile down the hallway.

The tiles need to be cleaned, but Mommy says
that it’s looking good so far!
The installer man left about 5pm on Tuesday, and came back on Wednesday. It was a really uncomfortable day, ’cause we were held up in Taylor’s room, but we made the best of it. 🙂

That home improvement sure makes things uncomfortable.
the 2 brown dawgs
Boy, the new floors are looking great. Bet you can’t wait to play on them. Sorry you and mommy were stuck in such a small place, but I bet it will be worth it in the end!
Puppy Kisses,
Tanner
Might be a little messy right now…butt it will be so nice when it’s finished. :o)
Aw, poor Bailey! It’s never nice having strangers in your house, is it? You and Nala look nice and comfy in those photos though 🙂
I bet the finished product will be worth all the stress!
Nice tile job! Bailey, I think you and Nala are going to love that cool floor. I know it’s been hard to ensure all the noise and your couches being moved, but how wonderful it will be when it is all done! Do you think your Mom and Dad would want to come paint my house next? 🙂
Happy Saturday Blog Hop!
Those tiles look beautiful! Looks like you and Nala had a nice day napping (aside from the thunder).
Your pal, Pip
Lookin’ good, Bailey! But I know what you mean–there’s been banging & crashing and sawing and weird noises coming out of our basement for weeks! I don’t like it one bit, but I’m glad to know you are coming to the end of yours. I hope mine does too…..
hey Bailey,
Looks like you pups are making the best of a difficult situation. But it is almost over! And your floor is looking really nice! Those tiles are pretty, and I bet it will look great when it is all done!
You and Nala look very comfy cozy on Taylor’s bed. I bet that was a nice napping spot! I am sorry that Nala was shaking during the storm, and that you were upset with strangers in the house. But, that is good that you are such an alert watchdog! :->
