It’s been a few days with the couch invader in our home. I’m still not happy about it. I tried jumping on it twice, and got yelled at. Even Nala tried!

My mommy was invited to an awesome invitation-only pet-related event in NYC (pets are welcome), but unfortunately cannot attend. We are looking for one person to go on our behalf — You would be going as an associate of My ParenTime’s Family Community (MyParenTime.com) & BaileyBeGood.com, and would need to gather and send any information (pamplets, brochures, samples, etc) to me. You would also need to write up your experience & offer opinions for a guest blogger spot on BaileyBeGood.com. I would prefer you to have been my friend (commenting back and forth on each other’s blogs, etc.) for at least a few months, and to have your own blog (doesn’t need to be pet-related, though since the event is pet-related, you probably should have pets). If you want more details, you can send me an email and I’ll get back to you. The event is on 11-15-11, and space is limited. Thank you woofs! <3 Now for the Couch Invader Update…
This past Monday morning while my mommy and daddy were in a different room, I decided to sneak up on the couch, in the very comfy corner that everyone has been fighting to sit in. It was WONDERFUL! Sadly, mommy came into the room, saw me on the couch, and shoo’d me off in lightning speed. Then she reminded me that I was NOT allowed on there.
Then later on that same day when my daddy and mommy were in the room, I put my two front paws on the couch and was gonna jump up, but I was met with a quick, “Eh Eh!” That means that I am no way allowed on it!
I snuggled up on the floor right next to it,
and imagined how it would feel to sleep ON it.
I imagined that my floor space was back.
I don’t have a problem looking out the window, since
I can stand on the stool and see outside easily.
But poor Nala has to stretch to look outside.
She can’t even see outside if she stands on the stool!
I buried my head in my pillows, and wished for the invader to disappear.
I think it’ll be a while until Nala and I try
and jump on the couch invader again.
It’s no use… the only thing we can do, is wait for daddy to make us our own couch by the window with our old couch. Come on, daddy!
I have a feeling there may be a video camera set up soon, to make sure I’m not sitting on the couch when no one is around. *Sigh*

UhOH….I bet you are sitting on the couch when no one is there. Better take care of that video camera if it shows up. I nose….throw a pillow over it!
Bailey, as much as we would love to see you enjoying a spot on that invader couch, we must admire your Mom’s good work t making you behave. One of these days you will bet that window seat, but for now your pillows look pretty comfy too. At least you do get that pretty carpet.

Our babies love the couch, I want a new one but my husband says the dogs are too attatched (really I think he does not want to spend the money). To bad about the conference if it where on a weekend maybe I could have gone in your stead
I love your stool so that you can easily see outside! Clever. Sorry about that new couch. What a bummer! And it’s so big- takes up so much room!! Where do they expect you to lie down??!?! ๐
but why oh why are you not allowed on the couch… a couch is for all doggies big and small. Its doggie heaven…
