Since our lives are much shorter than our humans’, we learn to appreciate every single moment. Sometimes we end up creating something so big, yet so small. Our humans may not always see things the way we do… like with our deck. To my family, those marks may just look like scratches. But if I’ve done it right, I’ve created some “memories.”
