Did you ever wish for something, then have it come true? That happened to me today!
I wished that we could go out in the front of our house. There’s always something happening there, or someone passing by. And there are those Bully Cats…
Well, mommy surprised Nala and me today! First she put on my leash, then she took Nala’s cone off and put on her leash.

She took her keys, and told us to sit by the door.
“OK, let’s review,” she started (it has been a while since we both went on a walk together). There’ll be no pulling and no fighting. When I say to wait, you wait. When I say to stop, you stop. And when I say Good Girls, you’re being really good girls.” Then mommy smiled at us. π
Mommy opened the door, let us out, and she locked it behind her.

“Oh, we’re not taking the car today,” she said.
WoooHooo! We’re goin’ for a walk, Nala!

And off we went.

Nala, stop trying to walk underneath me!

One of our neighbors has a Green Bay Packers
mailbox… I guess he’s a fan!

It was really hot out today, so we didn’t stay out
for too long. When we reached the end of this
street, we turned around and headed back home.
We thought our outside fun was over, but mommy surprised us. When we got inside, she didn’t put Nala’s cone back on… she just opened up the back door.
Nala and I haven’t played chase in a couple
of months because of her surgeries.
We forgot how much fun it is!

Look at Nala go! She still moves
pretty darn fast for a 12-year-old.

I was very careful not to hit her eye when we played.
She looks like she’s having a ball!
I think you like me, Nala. π

Ah! She’s catching up to me!
Mommy let Nala play with me until she got too tired and had to stop. I really missed playing with her, and was glad she felt well enough to play with me. I just love it when she chases me.

Nala, I’m so glad you’re my sister. π
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey

Oh, What a wonderful day!! I’m really glad Nala is back to feeling better and like new again π Your last pic reminds me of Nyxie and Arwen – Nyxie is forever licking her sissy’s mouth in submission – so cute!
Awww, thank you!! π π
How cute! You two are the cutest siblings ever. Those pictures of you guys playing chase are precious.
Awww, TY Link!! Believe me, it did not start this way. Nala wanted nothing to do with me when I first arrived as a 3-month-old puppy. As far as she was concerned, I was the enemy!
But I think I’m growing on her, and it makes me feel happy. π
Hey Bailey,
Your walk looked like fun and your time in the garden looked even better!! Nala sure is good at chase! But the best bit, she’s got her cone off!! Yay!! No more cone of shame for her, really happy for her, woof!!
Have a great day,
Your pal Snoopy π
Awww, Snoopy… we had such a fun day. Nala’s cone is off in the house when mommy can keep an eye on her. Mommy surprised us by taking off Nala’s cone yesterday when we went for a walk, and then kept it off so we could chase each other. Mommy puts the cone back on Nala when she wants to go sleep in the bedroom. So it’s off, but not yet all the time. π
I hope you have an awesome day!!
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
Oh you lucky pooches! What a very excitering day you both had.
Teehee! I’m starting to see how lucky I am. π
How cool that your wish came true!

Yay! Playtime is BACK!! That’s super! I know you’re both happy (and probably tuckered out!)
Oh, you don’t know HOW happy I am! And I think Nala hasn’t enjoyed playtime as much… ever! π
I’m so happy for you and Nala that you got your wishes come true! I love the passing by cars, passers-by and cats… oh, and the postman! They are so interesting, aren’t they?
Those zoomies pictures of you and Nala are great!!!
I LOVE the postman! Especially when he brings me stuffz! hehe
I love those pictures too! I’m so glad mommy was there to take them. π
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
