Today I’m 10 months old! I don’t feel any different, except that for my birthday I have a stranger in my house!
She arrived last night, and was still here when I woke up! Mommy said it’s her friend, and that she’s going to be staying with us for a few days. I don’t know why, but I just don’t get a good feeling about her. When she first arrived, she scared me so much… I just couldn’t stop barking!
She probably thought I was going to attack her!
Our visitor sat in our chairs…
Took food from our kitchen…
And pretty much made herself at home.
I’m just going to keep my eye on her.
Mommy says that I will be spending a lot of time in my house, if I don’t get used to our visitor being around. I guess all I can do is keep an eye on her. At least I can be prepared in case she tries anything… π

Bailey, we completely understand! However, our personal assistant has a very strict rule: If she says it’s okay, then it’s okay and if we don’t want a timeout get use to it! Being a guard dog and the Bear being a guard dog in training, it’s very hard when strangers are around! Good Luck and happy 10th month Birthday!

Happy Happy 10 Monthday, Bailey! Did your guest bring gifts? A cake? If so, maybe you should let your guard down just a little. Maybe just give the stranger half a chance? After all, mommy thinks she is ok. Be cautious but cordial.
No, our guest did not bring any gifts. Are they supposed to? Mommy said our visitor is like family, and that I should just try and get used to her. I did give her a few kisses, but each time she goes into another room and comes back, it makes me really upset and I bark at her all over again.

Happy 10th month Birthday, Bailey! You still look very much like a puppy. We normally would just bark at strangers OUTSIDE our gate but once they step into OUR property, we can’t be bothered about them anymore.
Awww, TY Amber-Mae! You really think I still look like a puppy? I’ve had so many people tell me how surprised they were once they realized I was still a puppy. π
We get a lot of visitors here. Mommy keeps introducing me to new people. But none of them stay overnight. I like to jump up and greet them. Mommy says that isn’t good.

I do OK with some strangers, outside of my house, but we don’t get too many strangers INSIDE my house. This is MY territory!

It’s REALLY hard with strangers! Our visitor is leaving in just a few days, and my mommy is hoping that we will become friends before she leaves. I’m not holding my breath!
