Hi everyone! Bailey’s letting me post about my doctor visit yesterday, while she sat at home, probably not being patient at all.
You know how Bailey wasn’t feeling good recently, right? Well, it seems that I’ve caught what she had. It’s been a few days since my tummy has felt OK, so mommy thought it was time she brought me to the doctor.
Bailey had just finished taking her medicine, and after yesterday’s doctor visit, I’m taking the same medicine but a smaller amount (’cause I’m a little doggie!).

First fleas, now an upset tummy — how lucky am I?

If we leave now, we can quietly disappear before the doctor comes in.
Are you with me?

Quick! I don’t see him coming yet!

Of course, mommy wasn’t fast enough.
Hi Doc. π

I really don’t like to be touched by so many
people at once. Is that strange?

The doctor commented on one of my tags.
It says, “Sweetest Baby in the World.” π

Finally we were done, but we had to wait for the
girl to bring in my medicine and paperwork.

The doctor told me that it sounded like I had the same
problem that Bailey recently had. So he prescribed the
same medicine, but a smaller dosage.

I waited by the door for the girl to come back.

I got a little impatient.

Here she comes! I couldn’t wait to go home.

Finally… we got to leave!

We walked to our car, and I jumped right in.
I’m not scared of jumping into our car like Bailey is.
(You don’t have to tell her I told you that.)

I rested in the car as we drove home.
When I think back to yesterday’s visit, I don’t think I was as nervous as I used to get at the doctor. I used to really shake and pace the floor. This time, I didn’t shake at all, really. Maybe after all these years, I finally realize that nothing bad will happen to me there. All the people are really nice, and they all know me. I’m like a movie star. π
After one day of taking my medicine, I think I’m starting to feel better. Now if I can just stop jumping up on the back of my couch by the window so I don’t fall over again… Yep, I actually fell over the couch today! When the meter guy passed by our house, Bailey and I RAN to the couch by the window. It’s a really good thing that Bailey pushes the couch toward the window sill, ’cause when I realized I had jumped up too high on the couch, and then realized that I was going to fall right over, I was able to put my front paws on the window sill for a moment to see if I could figure out how to get myself out of this mess.
Mommy tried, but wasn’t fast enough to catch me before I fell to the ground behind the couch. It’s a good thing there was nothing back there for me to fall on. I did hurt my front legs a little, but I think I was more scared that I had fallen over the couch. I am OK now. A quick trip outside to do my business, and I went on to take a nice long nap.
Hopefully, there won’t be any more doctor visits in my near future! For a doggie who is usually scared of lots of stuff, I’m becoming quite the dare devil in my old age!
Keeping my paws crossed I don’t see the doctor anytime soon. xx
Lotsa woofs,

Hope you and Bailey are both doing better! And no more falling off the back of the couch. You could really hurt yourself.
Your mom wanted to know what domain reg co Jan used. It wasn’t them that sucked. It was the company they use to approve checks. 6 years/ 6 payments with same info with no problem. But suddenly payment is flagged as possible ID theft or other problem? Bull! They’re pulling this on folks to scare them into giving up all their personal financial info.
Thank you so much! I’m feeling much better, but Nala has a way to go yet. Mommy had asked about the company, because she’s had lots of domains for more than 14 years, and has never had a problem. It’s awful that they couldn’t help you when you needed them the most. π
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
Hope you feel better soon Nala!
Thank you Link! I will tell her. π
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
Hey Nala,
You poor thing, picking up Bailey’s tummy bug – you were very brave at the vets – I bet your Mum was really proud of you…..
What’s with all the acrobatics on the couch? Guessing you were a little over excited that you’re on the mend…….
Have a fun weekend,
Your pal Snoopy – PS say hi to Bailey π
Hi Snoopy! Thank you. π Nala isn’t feeling too well today… I sure wish that medicine would hurry up and work! π
I HATE the vet even though she is very nice; you are so brave to not shake and whine. I hope the medicine does the trick and you are feeling fine in no time, Nala, this is a special weekend , after all.
I have a window chair whose back I sit on to watch out of the window. I make momma push it right against the sill so tightly that I can sit on the back of the chair and rest my front half on the sill. Maybe you can ask to try that. Otherwise, please be careful, would not want your pretty Eskie face bruised.
I hope that Nala feels better soon, too! Today she isn’t feeling well again. π She does not want to play with me at all when she is sick… she doesn’t even want me to go near her. π
OH dear, glad to know you weren’t hurt badly from that fall. You need to be very careful next time…Anyway, glad to know you getting better with that medication.
Thank you so much, Amber-Faith! I think from now on I’ll just sit on the couch… I’m not gonna take any chances! π
I sure hope that those meds clear you up

Thank you so much! But I think Isis is MUCH better looking. π
Nala:
So glad Bailey let you post. It is good to hear that you are doing okay! Sorry you were sick. Be careful with those couches. They are really nice to sit on, but when you fall from them…. whew!
Puppy kisses,
Tanner
Thank you, Tanner! I guess I’m not as experienced as Bailey — she can jump from the top of the couch with such grace!
