So Easily Amused (& Video)

I never claimed to be a puppy who needs something really big to keep me entertained, but if it’s something big, it’s even better…

Yesterday when my mommy came home, she brought in this huge, round thing.

I’ve never in my life seen anything like this. After mommy came in the house, she left it on the table by the front door, and I barked and barked at it.

Mommy then called Nala over, who didn’t look the bit phased by the big round thing. She went right over to it, sniffed it, and didn’t look afraid, so I figured that it was safe enough for me to get a bit closer. Not that I was scared or anything… I was just a little um, unsure.

A balloon? What the heck is a balloon?
All I know is, it’s BIG, round, and moves by itself!

If Nala thinks it’s OK, then it must be.

“Are you sure it’s OK to touch it, Nala?”

What is this thing for, anyway?

Well it’s definitely very colorful…

And it doesn’t smell…

It’s MINE!!

Wowserz! When I hit it on the wall, music started playing!
Mommy said the song is, “Celebrate,” by Kool and the Gang.

Heh, here’s one trick that Nala can’t do: “Hold it!”
She won’t hold anything in her mouth unless it’s a toy
or something to eat.

This balloon is so much fun to play with!
But I have to be careful or…

It’s getting away!

This thing doesn’t keep still, does it?!

Come here little balloon! I mean, BIG balloon!

Now I’ve gotcha!

I just have to keep the string in my teeth…

Just me and my balloon… now if I could figure out how to
hold it with my paws so I could eat food at the same time. 😉

I can swing it to the left…

and then swing it to the right…

The balloon follows me wherever I go!
The only problem is…

It doesn’t last forever. Poor balloon is deflating.
At least I had a ton of fun with it while it lasted!
