This weekend’s gonna be stressful again… guess who’s thinking about removing the rest of the floor tiles?
That’s right! Daddy! Mommy isn’t excited about it, ’cause last weekend when daddy was finishing the second day of tile removal, dust got through a few holes in the plastic. You don’t wanna know how much dust got into the supposed-to-be protected living room! And not only did it get in the living room, it got inside closets, and cupboards too!
Mommy says that if daddy is going to finish removing the tiles this weekend, plastic has to cover EVERYTHING! That dust can really get inside your nose!
Nala and I aren’t looking forward to going through the BIG THING again, but I keep telling myself that we’re gonna have a beautiful floor when it’s all over.
So I’ll just be patient and see how things go.
My human sister, Taylor, hasn’t been feeling well the past few days, but yesterday she was much better! Mommy thought she would take her mind off of stuff and get her something that she’s been wanting for a long time — an ear piercing! And not just your ordinary piercing… ’cause Taylor already has ordinary ear piercings. As a matter of fact, before last night she had 4 earrings in her left ear, and 3 in the right. That’s 7 holes in her ears!
After last night, Taylor now has 2 more holes in her left ear. Nope… she didn’t just get 2 more earrings — she got what’s called an Industrial Piercing. That’s a long bar that goes across her ear, in one end and out the other! I thought it was very interesting…

Taylor, what did you do to your ear?!
I hope they don’t get any ideas to put holes in MY ears!
Glad you’re feeling better, Taylor!

Hope the mess was less today and that the pretty stuff can start happening soon. Taylor’s ear looks … well, mommy said it best, ouch!!!! But if she likes it, I guess that is what matters. I’m with you, I don’t want that done to my ear either!!
Puppy Kisses,
Tanner
I hope the tiling is less stressful for you and Nala this time. π
That’s a lot of piercings! Your human sister must really love them!
Oh, I know how messy those projects can be! We had a wall in our basement sand-blasted a couple of years ago and, even with plastic shielding, it was a horrible mess everywhere.
That looks like a pretty neat piercing your hu-sis has, but I agree. Stay away from our ears, huh, Bailey?
We hope the tile project gets finished soon. Don’t quite understand all the ear holes, but it must be a human thing.

I am glad that Taylor is feeling better! Those ear things must have scared the bad germs away!
Good luck on getting all that tile removed! Know you’ll be glad when that’s over π
So glad that your human sister is feeling much better. Wow, she’s so brave to let her ears be pierced so many times. My sister Rosie has one hole each in her ear and she said she’ll never want anymore in her life.
Hope the floor tiles removing project goes well so Nala and you have beautiful floor again soon!
